Notice of Public Drop-in Event toronto.ca/ casaloma-tmmp Casa Loma Transportation Management Mitigation Plan The City of Toronto is undertaking a Transportation Management and Mitigation Plan (TMMP) to evaluate potential improvement alternatives such as transportation demand management and parking strategies to address congestion and parking demands during special events at Casa Loma. The TMMP identifies priority locations for interventions and short/long-term improvement alternatives. We invite you to attend an upcoming public event to discuss and provide your input on existing traffic conditions and the improvement alternatives being evaluated. Details of the public event are as follows: Tuesday, November 6, 2018 Time: Drop-in anytime between 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Place: City of Toronto Archives, 255 Spadina Road Study Area and Process The study area is bounded to the north by St Clair Avenue West, to the west by Bathurst Street, to the east by Avenue Road and to the south by Dupont Street. The TMMP will document the traffic and parking conditions within the study area during a special event occurrence at Casa Loma as well as during a non- event period. The TMMP will establish the key issues that are causing traffic congestion within the study area and will evaluate parking and infiltration conditions. Based on the findings, the locations of highest priority and greatest opportunity for improvement will be identified. Various improvement alternatives will then be developed and evaluated to address traffic and parking issues that arise within the study area due to special events at Casa Loma.

Two rounds of public drop-in events are planned as part of the TMMP. The first round will take place on November 6, 2018 and the second round is planned to take place in early 2019. The first round will discuss existing conditions, the initial screening and planned evaluation of improvement alternatives. Feedback collected will be considered as part of the evaluation process of the improvement alternatives. The second round will summarize the public feedback received, the improvement alternative evaluation findings, and the recommended solutions.
