A veneration of the cross is celebrated at this unique service in preparation of Easter. Tuesday at 8:30 pm. Outdoor Stations of the Cross: Come and join your fellow students and continue your observance of Lent on Monday March 21 at 3:30pm (weather permitting). Each station will be "hosted" by a different student, faculty or staff group at different locations around cam- pus. The Fast Basket: Wondering about what to fast from this Lent? Willing to take a chance on something you might not have thought about? Stick your hand in the “Fast Basket” and see what comes your way! The Mercy Basket: Looking to engage in a life-giving practice for Lent! Stop by Campus Ministry and pick a piece of paper from the Mercy Basket. The papers contain the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy. Pick a work and share God’s mercy! FILM: The Campus Ministry Advisory Council invites you to the movies. The film, God’s Not Dead, will be shown in the Moreau Auditorium tonight following the 8 PM mass at 9:15 p.m. Refreshments will be served. God’s Not Dead II will open in theaters on April 1 st , so join us either to re-experience or experience this film for the first time in preparation for the sequel. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be held Tuesday, March 22 from 3pm -9pm in the Chapel of Christ the King. There will be no services Holy Thursday through Easter Sunday. The standard Sunday Mass schedule will resume April 3rd.

Building a Winning Culture: On Wednesday, March 30, The Show Your Stripes club of the University of Scranton is hosting an event featuring former NFL All-Pro Joe Erhmann of the Baltimore Colts. The presentation is all about “Living life from the InsideOut.” The Show Your Stripes club is working alongside the Ronald McDonald House of Scranton to create this fun and beneficial event. Admission is free and the event being held in the Long Center at the University of Scranton and begins at 6:00PM. Competition for the "Young Adult Award in Social Communications" is now underway!

The Young Adult award is open to anyone ages 18-25.

The deadline for submission is just one month away! (Entries should be received by March 30, 2016) The competition takes place throughout the month of April. The winner(s) of the competition will be introduced at the inaugural John Cardinal Foley Symposium in celebration of World Communications Day ... on May 26, 2016 at St. Charles Bor-romeo Seminary (in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia). Annual Holy Cross Day of Fast: Monday, March 21st is the annual Holy Cross Day of Fast-ing. Thanks to all who have volunteered to fast from lunch or dinner on Monday. The proceeds from the fast as well as today’s collection will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen and to the Blessed Moreau Shrine in LeMans, France.

Annual Holy Cross Day of Service: Fri-day, April 22nd has been designated as the date for the 3rd Annual Holy Cross Day of Service, an afternoon when faculty, staff and students gather together to serve the local community to demonstrate the spirit of King’s College.
