The Xcellon CPS-101/102 Notebook Cooler Stand is a base designed to provide support and ventilation for a notebook or laptop computer with up to a 15.6” screen. The lightweight aluminum “cheeseplate” construction and two movable fans keep your computer cool—ideal for gaming.

Unlike plastic stands, the aluminum Notebook Cooler absorbs heat. The fans are USB-powered—an included pass-through means that you don’t lose the use of your port while running the fans. The fans snap into the holes in the cheeseplate construction, allowing you to place them anywhere on the stand to provide the most efficient cooling configuration for each situation. You can also remove the fans entirely when using a computer with an adequate cooling system.

The Notebook Cooler has rubber feet and is angled for ease of use. Since heating and overheating contribute to declining computer performance, using the Notebook Cooler can help extend the useful life of your computer.

Instructions

Moving a fan1. Unplug the USB power cord.

2. Grip the fan on the side with the power cord and on the opposite side with the release bar.

3. Squeeze the release bar, which releases the fan from the cheeseplate surface. (Figure 1)

4. Reposition the fan in the desired area while still squeezing the release bar.

5. When the fan is correctly positioned with the four feet inserted into the cheeseplate holes, release the bar.

One-Year Limited WarrantyXcellon provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later. Xcellon’s responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at Xcellon’s discretion, of any product that fails during normal consumer use. Inoperability of the product or part(s) shall be determined by Xcellon. If the product has been discontinued, we reserve the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function.

To obtain warranty coverage, contact Xcellon to obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) number, and return the defective product to Xcellon, along with the RMA number and proof of purchase. Shipment of the defective product is at the purchaser’s own risk.
