Click on Sports and it will bring up an application called Halow Sports. This currently is the best free

app for Sports. Sports apps come alive on a match day when there is live football on. If you can’t find

a good stream, try the other sports apps listed.

I have loaded a couple of favourites behind ADD-ONS, click on add-ons and you will see Music box,

Ultimate whitecream and M4U.

M4U – best for movies

Ultimate whitecream – Adult (highlight and press menu on remote to remote from favourites)

Music Box – best for music. You will need to register an account on www.vk.com once registered you

can listen, watch music videos and download music. When you log in you will need to make sure

your login is your phone number like in this example number +447795 123 456. Make sure you miss

out the 0.

If for whatever reason the application you are trying to watch isn’t loading. You can access all the

apps but clicking on video add-ons.

This box features auto updates, each application will update automatically. While updates are

happening, let the box update and don’t over load it by clicking on your selections

Don’t be afraid to click around and discover what else there is to watch on your box.

My personal favourites are

M4U

Exodus – will find the best streams around; will present you with another list. Just click on number 1

Halow TV

Phoenix (inside is more applications, there is one called TNPB which has all the box sets for British

comedy’s such as Only Fools & Horses, Little Britain etc. Inside Phoenix is Crusader88 which has lots

of foreign TV Channels.

You can add channels to your favourites by highlighting them and pressing menu on the remote then

add to favourites

Your box is like a little computer and needs to be shut down before powering off. This is very

important. Not doing this may corrupt the file system on the box. Can take a couple of minutes to

shut down.

If you experience any problems or the box freezes, please press home on the remote, click on

settings, go across to other- more settings – apps – kodi- force shutdown.

Or just unplug the box from the mains are start it up again

Maintenance

Every week try and get into the habit of doing some maintenance on your box.

Click on Wookie or the date below it

It will open up a box like the above

Go to Tools and clear the cache and delete packages

This will refresh the box and keep it running to the best of its ability

If you encounter a poor stream, try another one. If the problem continues, turn off your box and

router for 5 minutes and start it all up again after.

The stream quality is dependent on a number of factors

The Box

Internet connection speed

The actual stream itself

Trouble shooting

I recommend you have an internet speed of 10mb minimum for the NoSubTV box to run how it

should.

You can test the speed the box is receiving by doing the following

Click on wookie on the main menu

Select tools

Click on internet speed. Give it a couple of minutes & it will give you the results.

If you are able to, connect the box directly into the router. A previous customer was able to stream

perfectly fine with a 3mb wired internet connection

If you are clicking on the menus and no data is showing up. Your internet provider is blocking the use

of the NoSubTV box. This isn’t a problem and it’s easily solved.

BT Broadband Customers – you will need to disable parental controls & smart setup- to do this

please google how to turn off smart setup and use the BT help pages which will give you clear

instructions

Sky Broadband Customers – you will need to disable Sky Shield – Sign in to

broadbandshield.sky.com with your Sky iD username and password. If you’ve forgotten your Sky iD

details, you can retrieve your username or reset your password online.

Once you’ve signed in, scroll down the page and select Switch off.

Virgin Broadband Customers – You will need to turn off websafe – please google and use Virgins

instructions on their website

EE Broadband Customers – Disable orange safeguard. Please google how to

TalkTalk Broadband Customers – Disable your home safe security. Please google how to

Q: When I try to watch football the picture is very pixilated/poor

A: You will need to turn off acceleration

To do this do the following

Click on system

Video

Make sure bottom left of screen says Settings level Expert

Acceleration

Uncheck all hardware acceleration

Restart Kodi

If you are still having issues with your NoSubTV box we can remotely control your box from our PC at

the office. Under MY APPS you will have a program called Quick Support. Open the app and provide

us with your ID Number and allow us access. We can only look at your box when you allow us to. We

will not be able to access your box at any other time.
