Aboutthe NT Cattlemen’s Association
The Northern Terr itory Cattlemen’s Associat ion (NTCA) is the peak industry lobby group in the Northern Terr itory representing over 90% of the Terr itory’s catt le herd, a landmass in excess of 700,000 square ki lometres and a herd of over 2.1 mi l l ion head.
Over the past 33 years the NTCA has been recognised as one of Austral ia ’s most effective producer representative bodies, working at Terr itory, Federal and International levels with government and industry to advance and protect the interests of NT catt le producers and associated industry.
In addit ion to core responsibi l it ies, the NTCA maintains a strong focus on the emerging economies of South East Asia and invests in bui ld ing relat ionships in the region. At home, the NTCA runs an effective Indigenous employment program to re-engage young people in the modern industry.
The NTCA is a dr iv ing force for continual improvement, adaptation and the ongoing viabi l ity of the pastoral industry.
