NORTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITYSENIOR CAPSTONE, 2015

My senior capstone in the Architecture Department was a high rise, multi-use building located in San Francisco, California. As a class, we traveled to San Francisco and conducted a thorough site analysis for our projects. The goal of 530 Howard was to create a new beacon for the new heart of the city, the Trans-bay Terminal. This 750’ tower rises above the surrounding skyline and provides unique views made possible by its sharp angles.

ARCHITECTURE STUDENT

The following are examples of work completed in architecture school as well as in professional practice that best display my skill-set.

UNIVERSITÉ CATHOLIQUE de LOUVAINSTUDY ABROAD, 2016

For three months in 2016, I was able to study abroad in Brussels, Belgium. While there, a group of four from my class were assigned an urban design project in the Brussels suburb of Saint Gilles. We created a new public park with active “pods” of space that each serve a different function for any sort of person to enjoy. The center of the site is comprised of office space and a Language Learning Center. The residential buildings’ facades resemble surrounding Brussels row houses.

KILBOURNE GROUPMAY 2016 - PRESENT

The images on the right represent two separate projects currently under construction which I have worked on. Both images are used in marketing efforts to attract tenants to the buildings, and showcase unique features of the projects. I started each render from a base Sketchup model, then created context to give the renders life. After this was done, I rendered in Lumion, and then created fly over videos to be released as part of the marketing for each project.
