About the PERG

The Professional Education & Resource Guide is an easy reference for continuing education opportunities for massage therapists and bodyworkers.

The PERG offers a variety of ways to select courses that meet your continuing education needs. Browse the pages of advertisements to discover opportunities to enhance your skills and explore new and exciting theories and approaches. Or look up the dates you are available to take classes in the index at the back of the guide and choose from among those listings.

The North Carolina Edition of the PERG is mailed free of charge to licensed massage therapists and bodyworkers, so keep your address up to date with your state massage board to ensure you receive each and every copy.

The Professional Education & Resource Guide is published twice per year in North Carolina and South Carolina. It is also published less frequently in Georgia and Tennessee.

At www.PERG-CEMassage.com you can view all the current editions of the PERG in fl ip-book form, as well as a chronological list of advertised classes with links to webpage descriptions and email contact information.

NEXT ISSUE FEBRUARY 2015

Dear Colleagues,

The contest was such a success last Fall I decided to do it again this Fall. The more therapists enter, the more prizes I will give out. You can keep track of what’s going on with the drawing on the PERG Facebook page.

Good luck!

Nancy Toner Weinberger, Publisher

Who may enter: Anyone with an active license to practice massage in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Georgia. How to enter:I need 3 items: your name as it appears on your license, the state you are licensed in and your phone number. Incomplete entries will be discarded and will not be entered in the drawing. This information will only be used for the drawing, and will be responsibly discarded after the drawing is over. Only one entry per person, please. Dynamic Equilibrium is not responsible for entries that are not received, or not received on time. There are three ways to enter:1. Like PERGCE on Facebook and then message PERG in a private message on Facebook with the entry information. 2. Email [email protected] with the entry information. 3. Mail your clearly printed or typed entry information on a plain 8½X11 piece of white paper to: PERG Drawing Dynamic Equilibrium 309 Oakwood Court Youngsville, NC 27596 Do not put any other information or marks on the paper.

Pertinent information:Entries will be accepted up to August 31, 2014. The drawing will be held September 1, 2014. Up to 3 prizes will be awarded; one prize will be offered for each 100 entries, up to a maximum of 3 prizes for 300 or more entries. The grand prize of $150 is guaranteed to be awarded; the two additional prizes are $100 each. Vouchers are retroactive in the form of a check paid directly to you with proof of completion of a course advertised in this issue of the PERG, or the voucher can be paid directly to the continuing education provider on your behalf if you have not yet registered or paid for a course at the time of the drawing. Each voucher must be claimed and used in its entirety before January 1, 2015. Each entry will be printed on a plain 8½X11 piece of white paper, crumpled, and mixed in a container suffi cient to hold all entries. A blindfolded person who is not employed by Dynamic Equilibrium and is not a massage therapist will randomly select the winners from all of the entries. The drawing will be videtaped and posted on the PERG Facebook page.

Win a $150 Voucher towards a CE class advertised in this issue of the PERG!

This six level (two days each level) certification program is founded on the fact that Nature has provided the tools to assist us in maintaining robust health or regaining good health once it has been jeopardized. The first level of defense and healing is our own internal pharmacy. The second level is the use of plants to assist us in this job.
