Fall 2010
David Turpin Elected Secretary of ICRC
David Turpin, long time member and current Treasurer of the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board,
was elected Secretary of the International Certification and Reci-procity Consortium. The meeting was held October 19-21, 2010 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Also elected at this meeting was new Vice President Doug Rosenberry of New York. The election of officers was held on the final day of the meeting. Both Mr. Turpin and Mr. Rosenberry will serve on the Executive Committee and will hold two-year terms.
Upon election, Mr. Turpin responded, “Thank you for the vote of confidence. It will be an honor to serve this organization in a leadership position. ... I promise to serve with honor and dignity.”
In addition to David Turpin’s election, Mr. Danny Graves, Presi-dent of NCSAPPB, was appointed as Chair of the Clinical Supervi-sor Committee. North Carolina is fortunate to have both Danny and Turp to serve leadership roles on this International stage.
