The battles are ongoing in Damascus countryside

Syria announced that the strategic reserves of wheat, is enough for more than a year and a half, and if quantities scheduled to be brought are added, it will be enough for nearly two years. Contracts to provide the basic materials of rice and sugar for several months have been signed, supplies of agricultural pro-duction have been also pro-vided for the year 2014 of seed and fertilizer, while Homs refinery works with energy 10% , and Banias re-

finery works with 80%.

Syria confirmed that it had paid its contribution for the year 2013 in the budget of UNESCO and in the other funds, despite the ban im-posed on the Syrian national institutions especially bank-ing and financial ones, where Deputy Minister of Educa-tion, Dr. Farah Al-Moutlak indicated to the government’s
