UN accepts Syria’s invitation for talks on use of chemical weapons

Algerian Popular delegation asserted during their visit to Syria that the foreign conspiracy against Syria is clear.

The United Nations announced that it had accepted Syria’s invitation directed to the Head of the UN Investigation Team on the use of Chemical weapons in Syria, Ake Sell-strom and UN High Representative for Dis-armament, Angela Kane to visit Damascus to hold talks on the cooperation’s required mechanism. “Sellstrom and Kane accepted the Syrian government’s invitation “with a view to completing the consultations on the modalities of cooperation required for the investigations to conduct a UN mission to investigate the use of chemical weapons in Syria,” AFP quoted UN Secretary General Spokesman , Martin Nesirky, as saying on Wednesday.
