Applications are now open for the European CrossroadsProgram -- the Calhoun Honors College's summer studyabroad opportunity based in Brussels, Belgium.
Led by former Honors College Director Stephen Wainscott,the European Crossroads Program will take you to theheart of Europe, where you'll study EU politics and Belgianhistory, tour World War I battlefields, and visit some ofthe most beautiful and culturally rich cities in the world.
The cost of the program is only $1200 plus Clemson tui-
tion for six credit hours (out-of-state students pay in-statetuition for study abroad programs), which covers the twocourses, housing, ground transportation, and travel insur-ance. In addition, the Honors College will provide $1000towards the actual cost of roundtrip airfare to Brussels.

Goldwater Scholarship
If you are currently a sophomore or junior (you plan to graduate between May 2016 and May 2017) and are major-
ing in a STEM area, and are planning a research-based career, and would like to apply for the Goldwater Scholarship

Truman Scholarships
If you are currently a junior who is commied to public service leadership, you might want to apply for the TrumanScholarship. Established in honor of our 33rd president,Truman Scholarships are awarded to students who wish to
aend graduate school in preparaon for careers in government or elsewhere in public service. The Truman Founda-
on seeks future change agents who aspire to leadership posions in federal, state, or local government or in the
not-for
-prot and educaon sectors where they can inuence public policies and change public programs.
Scholars
are awarded $30,000 for graduate work and parcipate in workshops and internship programs organized by the Tru-
man Foundaon. Candidates must be US cizens and be juniors (or seniors in their third year of college enrollment).

The Naonal Academies is accepng applicaons for the 2015 Ford Foun-
daon Fellowships Programs for Achieving Excellence in College and Uni-
versity Teaching. Full eligibility informaon and online applicaons are

Eligibility Requirements:
U.S. cizens, naonals, permanent residents, or individuals granted deferred acon status under the DACA pro-
gram
Planning a career in teaching and research at the college or university level in a research-based led of science, so-
cial science or humanies
Spends and Allowances:
Predoctoral --$24,000 per year for three years
Dissertaon --$25,000 for one year
Postdoctoral --$45,000 for one year
Awardees have expenses paid to aend one Conference of Ford Fellows.
Approximately 60 predoctoral, 30 dissertaon, and 18 postdoctoral fellowships
sponsored by the Ford Foundaon and administered by the Naonal Research
Council of the Naonal Academies.
