From the
One of the great benets of a strong Honors community is that
students can learn not only from our faculty and sta, but also
from each other. Much of this learning is informal, but some of
it--including our innovave Seniors Advising Sophomores in
Honors (SASH) Program--is on the more structured side.
SASHgives sophomores the chance to learn about college and
career strategies from seniors who have been, or are currently
engaged in, applying to graduate or professional schools, nd-
ing research opportunies, weighing job oers, or just navi-
gang their way through college life.If you'll be a senior next year and are interested in
becoming a
SASH
advisor for next year, you'll need to act fast! The dead-
line for subming your online applicaon is next Sunday, Jan-
uary 31. You will nd the applicaon here. For advisors, SASH
is a great opportunity to develop leadership, mentoring, and
communicaon skills, build your resume, and help your fellow
students. SASH advisors also receive a paycheck!
Please take a moment and check out SASH -details are avail-
able on the Honors College web page, at hp://
