01. Bay-ka? Bay-da.Learning to say no has always been difficult for most of us. For a visitor, saying no in Kannada would be even harder. Bay-ka technically translates to “Do you want?” In response to that, we have Bay-da which translates to “No thank you, I’m good.”
Learn Kannada simply!A series of illustrations to teach people some of the nuances of the Kannada lingo.
03. Kannada Gotilla Guru.Another very important Kannada word that everyone must carry in their assemblage of bad comebacks: Gotilla –”I have no clue what you are talking about.”
02. Dead-end Leftu.The Bengaluru cop isn’t your average Indian cop. Ask a Saar for directions and he will be more than happy to help. However, it is important to understand the nomenclature of way finding and navigation that these guys use. A “T-junction” anywhere in the city is considered to be a Dead-end.
