Visual Story Night Out In Nature
Night Out In Nature is an outdoor production. It happens in four areas and in the show you will move from area to area.
This is your Tour Guide they will lead you through the show and will be available if you have any questions throughout the show.
When you arrive you will be seated in The Tea Garden. You will be offered cups of tea, juice and biscuits. There will be things to smell.
Allergy advice: Black tea comes
with oat milk, biscuits are dairy free but contain gluten. Gluten
free biscuits are available.
The next area you will be guided to is The Mycarium where you will meet the Mushroom Keeper.
There will be things to touch and the Mushroom Keeper will sing you a song.
You will enter The Biosprings and meet H2O.
You will have your own sink filled with water and can explore and use anything on offer in the water.
Finally you will enter The Dome, here you will meet the Founder.
Inside The Dome you will see the Blostma flower bloom, there will be things to touch, things to smell and lights to see.
There will be lights in The Dome but it will be a bit dark.
All props and set will be cleaned and sanitised between shows. There will be bowls of things to put your hands in, these will be fresh for your show.
To keep you safe the characters will not come too close to you. Your support team will be encouraged to support you to explore all the sensory elements of the show so you can have the best experience possible.
If you feel comfortable the Tour Guides can support you in exploring the show up close but will only do this if you want them to. The tour guides will wear masks when doing this. There will be time in The Tea Garden to chat to the Tour Guides about this.
The show happens outside so do come prepared for the weather. If it is very windy or rainy we may have to cancel the show for the safety of performers and audience.
In The Biosprings you might get wet. We will provide you with waterproof ponchos to wear but do bring a spare change of clothes if you are likely to splash water a lot.
Everything in the show is an offer, no one has to engage with everything. You are free to move around the space but do be aware it is an outdoor site. You are welcome to make as much noise as you need to.
You can take photos but please don’t let this distract from the audience experience. If we take photos and video we will ask for your permission.
If you become distressed you can
leave the show and rejoin whenever you feel ready. The tea garden will be open
throughout the show as a chill out zone
for audience members.
