Christine Joy, a young prodigy from West Linn, is currently a student at George Fox University. She is a studio art major with a focus on painting. She has been painting since she could hold a paintbrush and is mostly self-taught. She has competed in various art competitions and has taught art classes to groups and individuals. Christine paints with oils, acrylics and watercolors. She says, “My artwork is a combination between impressionistic and realistic painting.” Having received many awards, her goal is to someday own a gallery and show her paintings worldwide.” She will paint an original painting during the Night of the Moon event, to be auctioned off at the end of the live auction.
