Dear Foreign Language Professional,

Again, and for the 17th time in Cyprus the IP Exhbitions are by the FLT

community’ side, giving you the chance to inspect the most innovative

products and select the best for your students.

The two day programme will present the latest international trends on

classroom management, dyslexia, games, gamification, theatre, web

tools and many more to cover everyone’s needs. Once again we are

collaborating with Cambridge English and Cambridge University Press

to host their yearly Cambridge Day 2018 during the IPE - certificates of

attendance will be provided by Cambridge University Press.

A great variety of publishers, examination boards and teacher training

centers will be at the exhibition, eager to help you improve your work with

coursebooks, supplementary material, digital products for teaching and

classroom management and trainings.

This is your chance to interact with fellow teachers and school owners

from every corner of the island. Please help us spread the word by inviting

friends and colleagues to the exhibition at the Hilton Cyprus on 3 & 4

March 2018.

Looking forward to welcoming you to the

in non-game contexts. Organisations from hospitals, governments and corporations are all utilising gamification to motivate users and engage employees and customers. Game-enhanced learning can also be utilised in education with great benefits. Not only can it help improve student motivation and knowledge gain, but also provide learners with an opportunity to develop cognitive, social and emotional skills.

11.00 – 11.30 Coffee Break sponsored by Express Publishing

11.30 – 11.55 WONDER IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM (C) Kristy Kors, ELT Consultant, EXPRESS PUBLISHING Young learners need to become literate in a foreign language for them

to start making serious progress. For this crucial stage to happen, learners of English need to be motivated to engage with the language. Drawing on CLIL to make language learning a journey of discovery, interest and fun can be instrumental in keeping motivation high and providing the opportunity for language acquisition to occur naturally and in a meaningful way. Add to this a gentle, guided, introduction to the technical aspects of language and you have the perfect combination for success.
