WelcometoNFYT2013!Welcome toScotland’s National Festival ofYouthTheatre (NFYT),which returns toGlenrothes for the fourth year running.This annual event is a celebration ofthe powerofyouth theatre arts and is the largest gathering ofyouth theatre groups anywherein theUK.Join us all weekend for inspiring performances by youth theatre groups fromall across Scotland and beyond, including a few from right here in Fife (watch out forthe special Fife Friday programmeon the opening night).

NFYT2013 features awhole host ofworkshopswith leading artists, includingscratch devising,magic and dance,aswell as an exciting newYoungCriticsprogrammewith theatre critic Gareth KVile.
So expect to see somewild andwonderful things happening in RothesHallsand throughout the KingdomShopping Centre all weekend.

Jump fuses physical theatre, storytelling and themovement discipline ofparkour into afluid and freshly-devised theatrical production.Share in themusic choices,personalstories and discoveries ofthe youngmen as they overcome the physical,mental andemotional obstacles encountered on the journey fromboyhood tomanhood.
The 20 boys taking part in Jump include pupils fromGlenrothesHigh School,AuchmutyHigh School,Kirkcaldy High School,KirklandHigh School andWoodmill High School.

EdenCourtYoungCompany is an auditioned youth theatre that rehearses on a project by projectbasis. TheWavemaker company consists oftheatremakers fromacross theHighlands,predominantly of intermidiate 2,higher drama and college level students.TheYoungCompany,started their devising process in earlyMarch and are thrilled to be performing at NFYT2013.
