You will find a membership renewal form on page 2 of this newsletter. We Wish You a Happy and Prosperous New Year! There have been no NFWHS President sightings for a while, so I’m here with your New Year message. We have seen 2013 disappear into the sunset and 2014 rise over the horizon, and so this is a great time to look to the lessons of the past and to the hope of the future. New Years is always the time we are expected to set goals, challenge ourselves, change bad hab- its and start doing the things necessary to reach the levels we want-but it is also a time to re- flect. Sure it is great to do a “reboot” but we need to make sure we understand what caused any negatives so we don’t keep repeating them and we need to look to the positives and be thankful. When you are starting your new resolutions and decide to throw out the past, why not do it for real. Find something you don’t use and donate it to a charity to help others have a better 2014. Start your New Year with a decision to give to others, why not give more compliments each and every day and don’t forget to compliment yourself. It is free and can lighten many a heavy load. The New Year is also a good time to renew memberships to the associations and organiza- tions that need your support. You will find a membership renewal form for the NFWHS in this newsletter for your convenience. I will leave you with my favorite quote: “Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.” My wish to you for 2014 is many marvelous mo- ments that take your breath away. - Marty VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH - SUE ANN HAYLEY Sue Ann Hayley has been a member of the NFWHS for over 28 years and a volunteer for 18 years.

New Years is always the time we are expected to set goals, challenge ourselves, change bad hab-its and start doing the things necessary to reach the levels we want-but it is also a time to re-flect.

The New Year is also a good time to renew memberships to the associations and organiza-tions that need your support. You will find a membership renewal form for the NFWHS in this newsletter for your convenience.

I will leave you with my favorite quote: “Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.” My wish to you for 2014 is many marvelous mo-ments that take your breath away. - Marty
