* All classes -
Happy Halloween, or rather, Happy All Hallows’ Even! The name “Halloween” really comes from a shortened All Hallows’ (holy/saintly people) Even (evening), which is the night before All Saints Day when the Church remembers and celebrates all those who have died and have gone to heaven. A lot of the traditions related to scary costumes, tricks, and treats date back to the Druids in Europe long before St. Patrick brought the Gospel to Ireland. So, in preparation for that scary and frightful night, don’t forget that there is a lot more tradition behind it than just candy and scaring each other! Be safe and have some good family fun!
