The year 5 and 6 classes were visited by Trevor Mallard yesterday

The Right, Honorable Trevor Mallard On Tuesday 28 July, Trevor Mallard visited the classes in our syndicate. He was so kind. Did you know he has three dogs? Two border collies and a chow. Trevor Mallard came because we wrote him an amazing letter inviting him. Did you know he has one of the most important jobs in Parliament? Did you know that he loves children, especially babies? He has 7 grandchildren and sometimes takes his grandchildren to swim in the pool at Parliament with Neve, the Prime Minister Jacinda’s daughter. It was an honor to meet the Right Honorable Trevor Mallard. By Joseph Greaney, Room 3

Room 3 meet Trevor Mallard On Tuesday the 28th of July, the Right Honorable Trevor Mallard came to Our Lady of the Rosary School. Did you know that Trevor Mallard loves gardening? He also has a really important job as the Speaker of the House in Parliament. You’re probably wondering why he came? Well, it’s because we are learning about Parliament this term. Next week we are going to Parliament. Trevor said that he will try and spend 5 minutes with each of our classes to show us his office. Overall it was a really cool visit.
