Every- where the back to school signs are up and people are settling back into their offices. From a rainy spring we were given a hot and generally sunny summer. We hope you enjoyed it and continue to enjoy the nice weather. For many of us summer is a time to get some much wanted reading done. We’ve been doing the same. One book that Christian really enjoyed is Swiss Watching by Diccon Bewes. A big thank you to everyone who is following us on Twitter and facebook. Don’t forget to interact with us - comment, post and share - we’d love to hear from you. September 5, 2010 at 7pm there will be an Austrian wine evening at Casa Gabriella in Meilen am Zürichsee. This is the perfect aesthetic follow up to the next event. See the attached flyer for more details. Also on September 5th is the “Portrait of an Artist” exhibit at the American Women’s Club in Zurich, which is a great lead up to the Open Doors event for artists at the end of the month in Winterthur. These events are organized by local artist and entrepreneur Michelle Bird. The Winterthur Musikfestwochen are in full swing so stop by and check out some free concerts. BlueSky is now offering Nurturing Networking dinners catered by Michelle Kiener, proprietor of Chefinity. Check their site for updates on when these take place. After a summer break the ZüriLaufCup (running series) has started again. If you enter three runs between now and November you will receive a 30 CHF coupon for running gear from Leo Hunger, one of our partners. We are trying to get to Berlin at the end of the month for the Berlin Marathon in support of Famila Moja. If you would like to support us and this wonderful charity please contact us. For many of us summer is a time to get some much wanted reading done. We’ve been doing the same. One book that Christian really enjoyed is Swiss Watching by Diccon Bewes.
