• MIDOR is one of the most advanced & highconversion refinery in Africa and Middle East basedon technological complexity; reaching a standard of12.1.

• The refinery current operational capacity is 115,000BPSD.

• MIDOR refinery is distinguished by its deepconversion (zero fuel oil production) of all heavyproducts such as low value gasoil into high qualitylight and middle distillate products equivalent tomore than 87% of total production.

• MIDOR continues to implement its refinerymodernization program, which is intended toincrease the refinery capacity by 60% whilemaximizing production of middle distillates to fulfillthe increase in domestic consumption and meet Euro5 requirements.

Technical Features

MIDOR Refinery Technical Activities• MIDOR refinery continues to receive cargoes of

high sulphur Gasoil cargoes on spot or contractbasis and converted it to low sulphur Gasoil thatwas sold to international market via tenders.

• Refinery feed rate controlled at optimum capacityto cope with the planned maintenanceshutdowns activities.

• MIDOR continues to receive Arabian crudes fromARAMCO by swapping crude vs. products through6-month contract.

• MIDOR refinery processed an imported cargo ofNaphtha and converted it to 95RON Gasoline.

• MIDOR refinery meets all its obligations andcommitments towards the local and internationalmarkets.

Technical Features

Expansion project activities• 3D Model for new, revamped process units, utilities

& offsite are ongoing.

• Project Reimbursable items are under discussions &finalization between MIDOR & TechnipFMC.

• Refinery new gates for Expansion are ongoing.

• MIDOR/TechnipFMC started the implementation ofincreasing the local content of the project.

• Project Environmental & Social action plan has beensettled and implementation started.

• During November & December 2019, plannedshutdowns for process units has been implementedfor asset Integrity & Owner data validation.

• Electrical Power balance has been closed betweenall parties during Oct.2019.

Technical Features

Expansion project activities• 2nd Steering committee was established during 22

October 2019.

• The loan draw down was updated by TechnipFMCbased on project execution and updated equityinjection plan during Oct.2019.

• During October 2019, MIDOR has issued theCertificate of Origin for Crude & Products for theLenders.

• Y.2020 annual business plan was issued by MIDORto lenders during Nov.2019.

• Natural Gas supply contract between MIDOR &Gasco is under finalization.

• Celebration of 1.000.000 man hours without LTI;during Dec.2019.

• Planned progress tables & S Curves were issued byTechnipFMC during Dec.2019.

Midor Imports• MIDOR has imported about 184,302 Metric tons of

high sulfur Gas oil for treatment.• MIDOR has imported about 28,968 BBLS of

naphtha.

MIDOR Participated in MOC 2019 conference andexhibition that took place in Bibliotheca ConferenceCenter in Alexandria, Egypt from October 15 - 17.Chemist Gamal ElKareish MIDOR CEO, welcomed theexhibition visitors from petroleum sector and foreigncountries at MIDOR`s booth.
