The rapid increase in Sales has brought down the proportionate indirect costs

such as the percentage of personnel expense which has fallen to 6% of Sales now:

Capacit'e is on course to restrict the

personnel expense to be less than 5%

of Sales in 2015-16, by way of

increasing productive output.

The Corporate Overheads as a

percentage of Sales is restricted to

4% of Sales, adding to the

competitive advantage.

Capacit'e is focused on value addition to the customers, treating anything that

does not serve this purpose to be wasteful and hence a target for elimination.

Capacit'e has set itself a target of doubling Sales in 2015-16, thereby creating more

value to all stakeholders including customers, employees, vendors and bankers.

BANGALORE OPERATIONS

With six ongoing Projects now, the

South Zone operations of Capacit'e

based out of Bangalore have

stabilized. The quick ramp up in

Order Booking and Sales is thanks

to the tireless efforts of the entire

team in South Zone, which is well

appreciated. The new Projects

include Century’s Breeze, Sattva’s

Cadenza and Provident’s The Tree.

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVESRMD Kwikform Workshop

An intensive three-day workshop on RMD Formwork system

was conducted in March 2015 for the frontline Foremen of

Capacit'e Infraprojects.

Mr. Geoffrey Hards, an expert in this field with more than 40

years of experience trained the Foremen on the various

aspects of using the RMD Formwork system, covering the

design, assembly, staging, shuttering, deshuttering, safety,

quality, time, cost and maintenance. The programme

included a one day session on-site for mock-up assembly,

with focus on easy way of doing things right.

Mr. Ashish Ghosh, Head of Formwork Cell coordinated the

successful conduct of the workshop for the benefit of all

participants and the organization.

Administrative Compliances Training

A training programme on Administrative Compliance

requirements was held in March 2015 for the Site

Administration staff of Capacit'e Infraprojects.

The purpose of this program was to ensure thoroughness of

documentation for compliance purposes in respect of

applicable labour laws, insurances etc. with focus on

timelines, adequacy and accuracy. The topics included :

a) Statutory Compliances under various Acts applicable to

construction sites

b) Records / documentation to be maintained under the

various acts - and how to maintain them.

c) Different Insurance Policies as applicable, including

Contractor’s All Risks Policy, Employee Compensation etc.

d) Intimation, documentation and follow up of Insurance

claims till realization.

e) Asset management for labour camp mobilization and

demobilization.

f) Employee life cycle management issues

g) Emergency response, incident / accident management

RMD Tru Lift Formwork Presentation

Capacit'e has mobilized the Tru Lift self-lifting core forming

system from RMD Kwikform for its prestigious Four Seasons

Residency Project. A workshop was held to establish clarity

on the system features, construction methods etc.

Candy Training in Bangalore

A training programme was held in Bangalore to implement

Candy in South Zone Projects of Capacit'e Infraprojects. The

cost estimation & budgeting, planning & scheduling aspects

were covered, to enable control of actual cost in Buildsmart

with respect to the Candy budget.

Lean construction aims to meet the value proposition for the Customer, at minimum cost. The expenditure of resources in

any aspect other than the direct creation of value for the end customer is wasteful, and thus a target for elimination. In line

with this principle, Capacite Infraprojects has embarked on a Mission to reduce wastage of concrete and reinforcement steel

to be within 1% of theoretical consumption, with effect from 1st April 2015.

from its two Projects for Godrej in

Gurgaon and Mumbai.
