“May every sunrise hold more promises and every sunset hold more peace...”― Umair Siddiqui The current session proved to be a fruitful year with our students scaling new heights and shining in all aspects. As we prepare ourselves for the upcoming new changes, challenges and opportunities, there are a few quick reminders to ensure that we achieve the desired outcomes. Everyone must be aware of the recent changes that CBSE has devised in the pattern of assessment for the next session. The new norms demands a raise in the level of academic performance by the students . We urge all the parents to read the school Almanac which will not only guide you about the rules, regulations and functioning of the school but also help you to organize yourselves to the needs of your child throughout the year. We expect you to enthuse the children not to miss any of the school programmes as such activities lead to their holistic development . We would like you to keep in mind that the transport facility is a service provided rather than a right. It is requires immense coordination, keeping in mind the safety of our students. At times there may be some problems and we need the support of the parents. It is our bounded duty to instil discipline in our children to help them conduct themselves in a manner upholding the ethos of both the family and their alma mater. They should be strong enough not to get influenced by others and follow them blindly. They must be able to reason and think logically, thereby leading not only themselves but also others to the right path. Since our children emulate us all the time, they must be given the correct inputs so that they are not confused while taking decisions. We need to help them to build a clearer perspective rather than being judgmental about everything. They need to flourish into individuals with clarity of thought and expression. We need to constantly work towards this direction till our children imbibe these values. Parental support is something we value as we believe that parents are a crucial link in this teaching- learning process. So let’s work together to set our children onto the right path for a happy life ahead. Our heartiest congratulations and prayers to the outgoing batch as they step into the real world to meet the challenges head on. We have complete faith in what they have imbibed and believe that whatever they choose to do, they would excel .They must never lose hope. They must remember that as St. Marians they cannot give up easily and be ready to strive for excellence. We pray to the Almighty to touch their lives with His magical hands and shower His blessings on all their endeavours. From the Principal EDITION 25 28 FEBRUARY 2017 ST.
