One of the more fascinating traditions still surviving today in Ethio-pia but abandoned centuries ago in the West is the use of Talismanic art. Talismans, such as this Magic Scroll, are items not considered to be the products of the human artist that made them.

On Wright’s stationary with printed letterhead. Letter size, now handsomely presented in a black frame, glazed. 1 page. Extremely well preserved, the fold lines from original mailing still visible, the ink bright and unfaded.
