New York City Photography
The New York City streets are undoubtedly familiar to every person who visits, made popular by the
works of the photographers like Saul Leither, David Bailey, Elliot Erwitt and Horst Harmann. A
photographer cannot fail to be inspired by the cosmopolitan buzz, iconic skyline of the streets and even
the tranquility of Central Park.
With this latest New York City photography tour you will have the opportunity to photograph the big
apple from above Fifth Avenue with heady heights looking over from the top of The Empire State
Building where you will be able to get a 360 degrees panorama view and is very impressive. It will be
worth knowing that the earlier in the morning that you arrive on the top of the building, then the
greater it will be for you to get the best places.
You will be able to get some exciting shots when you visit Times Square on 42nd street. Here you have
the yellow cabs, cyclists, tourists, workers, and the best of all the lights. You will also have the chance to
spend several hours there to capture the many different crowds, using techniques for different locations
and angles using the various settings on your camera, so take lots of shots to experiment with and be
guiding by your tutor Paul Sanders.
There is also a peaceful, quiet and calm setting to capture in Central Park as mentioned earlier. This
large park has some of the best areas where you can get interesting angles for capturing all kinds of
various photography shots. It is not just the impressive buildings which surround the park that captures
your attention but the people there strolling, roller skaters and the cyclists whizzing side by side and
even the birds and squirrels that move around the park. There is even one lake were you can rent out a
rowing boat from which you will be able to get some excellent shots. Other points of interest are the
buildings height and sheer size which lend themselves to photography.
There will also be an opportunity to visit B&H possibly the world’s largest and most fascinating camera
shop where everything a photographer needs or just desires is available.
Your tutor for this New York City photography tour will be Paul Sanders who has a mindfulness approach
to photography and will be there to help you take some great images. For more details about this tour
