The Grief Recovery Method 8-week program will begin on March 7- April 25 from 9 am to 11 am at OSLC. This is an action-basedprogram for people wanting to move beyond the pain of death,divorce, and other losses. The program is designed to help youcomplete your relationship to the pain, isolation, and lonelinesscaused by a significant emotional loss in a safe and confidentialenvironment. Vouchers are available for church members. Classsizes are limited to 11 participants. For more information, pleasecall Marilyn Thelen at 970-685-0073.

FOCOLU-Habitat Volunteers Needed on Saturday, March 14. FOCOLU-Habitat Volunteers Needed on Saturday, March 14. Fivevolunteers from OSLC are needed to join other FOCOLU-Habitat volunteersto work on 5 houses currently under construction at HarmonyCottages. Work will involve caulking, painting, and nailing – no specialskills are needed, and all tools will be provided. Excellent weather hasbeen requested and a delicious lunch will be served by culinary expertsfrom Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. We are looking for volunteers for overnighthosts, evening hosts, meal hosts, set-up/tear-down help, laundry help,grocery shoppers, and cleaning help. Before our next hosting week, we have a FFH volunteer training. It willbe on Sunday, March 15, from 1-2:30 pm at Foothills UnitarianChurch, and Monday, March 16, from 7:00-8:30 pm in the library of St.Luke's Church. Please put this on your calendar and plan to attend,especially if you have not attended a training in the past 2 years. Thetraining serves to give volunteers an understanding of how the FFHOvernight Shelter program operates, what the rules are for guestsand volunteers, along with helpful tips on how to interact with
guests. Please invite anyone who is interested in serving with FFH tothe training!
We would like to invite anyone interested in coordinating with a teamof established coordinators, in any capacity, short or long term, toreach out to Angie Asmus (970)646-2134 or Jodi Loecke (970)371-5345. We would love to give you more information or have you joinour team.
