On behalf of Manitoba Heavy Construction Association, we’d like to express our gratitude to all the partners, sponsors and stakeholders - along with the City of Thompson - for making last year’s EXPO North a huge success. On that note, we’re pleased to announce the second annual Heavy Construction EXPO North, which will be held from February 24 to 26, 2015, in Thompson, MB.

EXPO North 2015 is designed with the student, employee and employer in mind: providing education and training that addresses all needs and covers all levels of experience. Whether you’re a seasoned, experienced worker or a new entrant to the workforce; a front line supervisor or safety professional; a business owner or human resources representative - EXPO North has the tools and resources you need to advance your career to the next level.

Throughout this three-day conference, EXPO North will provide 38 hands-on, interactive workshops delivered by subject matter experts that focus on the vocational, professional, human resources, safety education training and development of the heavy construction workforce and its partnered industries throughout Northern Manitoba.

We’re also excited to announce the launch of a new Leadership Certificate Program: designed for the front line leaders who will ultimately become the industry’s new supervisors of tomorrow! This certificate program will help prepare new supervisors by building up a solid foundation of human resource management, project management and related team-building skills in order to direct and supervise any given workforce. The Leadership Certificate Program will be offered for five days, during EXPO North, from February 23 to 27, 2015.

Thank you for your interest and commitment to EXPO North and, on behalf of the organization, we wish you an exciting and fulfilling journey in your career path.
