    EACH CONTRACTOR, PRIOR TO SUBMITTING HIS BID, SHALL THOROUGHLY EXAMINE THE DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, AND VISIT THE SITE TO BECOME FULLY AWARE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE OF ALL WORK AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THE WORK IS TO BE PERFORMED.
