Checklist – Service Area Improvements To provide a better user experience when executing an inspection, a number of improvements
have been implemented on how Service Areas are handled on Checklists. These changes
include:
Service Area Index (Collapsed by Default)
When a user opens a checklist (from search, work order, or service quote) all the service areas
will be collapsed by default. To see the list of all the tasks within a collapsed Service Area, the
user can click on the Service Area name. After the Service Area has been expanded, the user
can scroll through the tasks in that Service Area. An expanded Service Area can be collapsed by
clicking on the Service Area name. Two new buttons Expand All and Collapse All have been
added above the Service Area list that allows for all Service Areas to be expanded or collapsed
based on the user’s selection.

Service Area Progress
The task progress of each Service Area is now displayed in the header of each Service Area in the Segment Details page of a Checklist. Currently this progress treats Skipped tasks as
incomplete. In a future version of the app these will be counted as Complete with an indicator that at least one of the tasks in the Service Area had been Skipped. When all tasks under a
Service Area are complete, a check mark will be placed before the Task Completed/ Total Tasks progress

Photo Capturing Improvements
When the user selects the camera icon in a task, the Gallery for that Task will display with
“Done” and “Take Photo” buttons instead of “Cancel” and “Take Photo” buttons. Once the user
takes and confirms the photo they will be returned to the Gallery with the picture saved to the
task. Previously the user had to go through the crop and edit/annotate on picture screens and
had to click the Save button to get back to the Gallery. Now to edit or crop a picture, the user
has to click on the picture and click the Edit (pencil) icon to annotate on the picture and the Crop
icon to crop the picture.
