Dorothy A. Savarese Cape Cod Five Mutual Company

Dorothy A. Savarese is the chairman, president and chief executive officer of Cape Cod Five Mutual Company, the sole shareholder of The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank, an independent Massachusetts state-chartered savings bank founded in 1855. The Cape Cod Five has grown to over $2.85 billion in assets with a leadership position in both deposits and loans on Cape Cod. Currently, the Bank employs over 450 people in its 24 locations throughout Cape Cod, the Islands and Southeastern Massachusetts. Savarese is chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Cape Cod Five and Chairman of The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Trust, with $13.0 million in assets.

Savarese joined Cape Cod Five in 1993 as a commercial lending officer. She then became Senior Vice President, Director of Product Planning before she was named Chief Operating Officer in 2004 and served in that capacity until becoming President and Chief Executive Officer in 2005. Prior to joining the Cape Cod Five, she served as an officer for a regional Midwestern bank. Before that, she worked for a national economic development consulting organization. Dorothy holds an MBA from Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School. Savarese currently serves as Chairman-Elect of the American Bankers Association, Secretary of the Board of Trustees of Cape Cod Community College and a Board member at Gosnold on Cape Cod, an addiction healthcare provider. She is a past member of the FDIC Advisory Committee on Community Banking, a past chairman and board member of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, a past Chairman of the Massachusetts Bankers Association and a past member of the Board of Directors of the American Bankers Mutual Insurance Ltd. In 2015, she was named one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking by American Banker magazine for the fourth consecutive year.

Barbara Carrollo-Loeffler Provident Bank

Barbara Carrollo-Loeffler began her career as a Mortgage Loan Originator with Apple Bank for Savings in 1988 and has worked for major banks, including Manufacturers Hanover, NatWest, and European American Bank.

Carrollo-Loeffler is currently the senior vice president/director of consumer & residential lending at Provident Bank. Jill Castilla Citizens Bank of Edmond

Jill Castilla led a 180 degree turnaround at Citizens Bank of Edmond and broke virtual radio silence through the power of social media. She was named “Most Admired CEOs", “Most Innovative CEOs in Banking”, "Community Banker of the Year" and " Most Powerful Women in Banking" in 2015. To Jill, social media is the equivalent of going to “a million chamber of commerce events and shaking everyone’s hand.” Citizens Bank went from having no audience to over 40,000 views on YouTube and over 30,000 followers who engage with the bank through Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram with features on BloombergTV, TheStreet and all local TV and radio stations. Laura Huderwitz Provident Bank

After graduating High School in 1978, Laura began her banking career as a teller. Huderwitz was promoted to assistant manager two years later and left the banking industry in 1982 to raise her family. In 1999, she returned to the banking world as a teller with Provident Bank. She worked her way up the Provident retail ranks to her current position of market manager, first vice president. In her position, Huderwitz is responsible for ensuring the delivery and management of sales goals, including deposits and loan growth for both commercial and consumer clients. She currently manages a staff of 17 in 3 branches with deposit revenue of over

150 million dollars. Huderwitz is committed to her customers and takes pride in building business relationships that bring value to Provident customers. Her desire to build relationships extends to her participation in Provident4Women – a group of women helping women through educational content, social media, videos and events. Provident4Women launched in 2014 and Laura has been an active Provident 4Women team member since the group’s inception.

Geri M. Kelly Columbia Bank

Geri Kelly is executive vice president, human resources officer at Columbia Bank in Fair Lawn, NJ. Kelly has been with the Bank since 1979 upon graduating from Douglass College. She received her Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers University. In her capacity at the Bank, she oversees all human resources operations for the Bank’s 44 branches including its subsidiary First Jersey Title Services, Inc. Her responsibilities include compensation and benefits, affirmative action, recruiting and training and development. In addition, Kelly is chairperson of the Human Resources Committee of the New Jersey Bankers Association and is chairman of the Human Resources Committee at Commerce & Industry Association of New

Jersey. She served on Governor Christie’s Unemployment Insurance Task Force in Trenton and is on the Planning Committee for the March of Dimes Darlington walk. Kelly is also a member of the American Payroll Association and Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is a board member for the Center for Financial Training (CFT).

Margaret Lanning OceanFirst Bank

Margaret Lanning currently serves as the chief credit officer for OceanFirst Bank. She has an extensive background in banking and finance which includes management responsibilities in wholesale banking, leasing and credit administration. Lanning is active in developing future business leaders through participation in various mentoring programs and promoting quality education. She is currently a member of the Advisory Board for the Institute for Women’s Leadership at Rutgers University and is a past member of the Board of Associates of Randolph-Macon College. She co-developed the WINGS Mentoring Program with the Center for Women and Work for undergraduate women students at

Rutgers University. Lanning is a past recipient of the NJBIZ Best 50 Women in Business Award, TWIN (Tribute to Women and Industry) Award, Woman of Influence in Finance Award and an Executive Women of New Jersey Salute to Policy Makers Award Honoree. Paula Mandell M&T Bank

Paula Mandell is a senior vice president and area executive at M&T Bank overseeing M&T’s commercial banking operations in New Jersey, Westchester County, NY, Rockland County, NY and Connecticut. Mandell has an extensive background with more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career at M&T Bank in 1992, and has held a number of positions within commercial real estate, middle market, health care and not-for-profit lending. She is actively involved in the community and currently serves on the boards of the Westchester County Association and the Commerce and

Kevin G. Rietema

Federal Bureau of Investigation

Special Agent Kevin G. Rietema has been with the FBI for over 19 years and is currently assigned to New Jersey's National Security Branch/Joint Terrorism Task Force as Newark Division's National Security Threat Finance Coordinator. SA Rietema provides investigative, analytical and operational support across all programs (Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, Counterproliferation, Terrorism Finance and significant Cyber investigations). Rietema has traveled extensively both in the U.S. and abroad and is a key liaison and outreach partner to the financial sector. His most recent project was assisting in the establishment of the Cyber Financial Pursuit Team within the FBI's Cyber Division.

Dawn Scocco Provident Bank

Dawn Scocco began her banking career in 2000 by completing a loan officer training program at New Millennium Bank in New Brunswick NJ. Scocco later worked as a Credit Underwriter at First Union/Wachovia Bank and JPMorgan Chase Bank. In 2009, she joined Provident Bank where she is currently a Portfolio Manager in the Business Banking Group. She is also an active team member of the Provident4Women group, enhancing women’s financial literacy by mentoring and educating through articles, workshops and presentations.

Throughout her banking career, Scocco has worked in all facets of commercial lending – including Small Business, Middle Market, Mid-Corporate and Business Banking. Debra Singleton Cigna Healthcare

Debra Singleton is a licensed clinical social worker in New York, New Jersey, and Louisiana. Singleton has been in the Employee Assistance Program field since 1984 providing onsite critical incident services, training, and personal counseling to employees, managers, and household members. Her primary interests are in the area of stress management and personal resiliency.

Angela Snyder is the CEO and Chairwoman of Fulton Bank of New Jersey, a Fulton Financial subsidiary headquartered in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Snyder also received the 2009 “Beyond the Glass Ceiling Award” sponsored by The South Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, “Pioneer of the Year” award. Snyder was named as one of the top “business people to watch” under the age of 40 by both NJ Biz and the Philadelphia Business Journal. Peg Wright

The Center for Great Expectations

Peg Wright has served as the president and CEO of The Center for Great Expectations since 1998, when Wright founded the Center to assist homeless, pregnant women and adolescents in “breaking the cycle” of homelessness, abuse and addiction. Under Peg’s leadership, the Great Expectations has grown to become a premier provider of a full continuum of care of services for homeless women with children, growing from a 6 client program in 1998, to the expanded residential and outpatient programs that annually serve over 150 pregnant/parenting women and children. Peg leads a team of over 60 full and part-time employees, countless volunteers, and a dedicated Board of Directors. Her commitment to

providing the most impactful programming has supported an innovative clinical approach that integrates trauma-informed care with parent-infant mental health, resulting in programs that address underlying traumas and focus on building self-esteem, life skills and the critical relationship between mother and child. During her first career in sales and sales management of Diagnostic Imaging equipment, Wright developed the dynamic skills she uses today to partner with the public, private and academic sectors to bring the highest level of care to the clients of the Center. She is passionate in collaborating with dedicated Behavioral Health clinicians who specialize in trauma informed care and parent infant mental health, to advance the individualized, compassionate mental health and substance use treatment that Great Expectations provides to marginalized women from all counties of New Jersey. In 2015, she was selected as an NJBIZ “Top 50 Women in Business”, an affirmation of her outstanding contribution in the nonprofit sector and our New Jersey communities and was honored to be named a “New Jersey Hero” by the NJ Heroes Foundation. Mary Pat Christie and leaders of the Foundation visited Great Expectations to tour the facilities, meet clients and staff, and deliver Peg’s award along with a foundation grant. Wright attended John Carroll University, Ohio and New Jersey City University, and currently sits on the Board of the Somerset County Business Partnership, the Advisory Board of Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Center for Excellence, and was recently named as a Trustee of the New Brunswick Health Partners, a newly formed Accountable Care Organization.

LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

NJBankers recognizes the importance of education for all bankers and has developed The NJBankers Leadership Academy, a comprehensive program which provides the tools for all levels of bankers to succeed and support their financial institution as well as the banking industry.

Whether a director or frontline personnel, The NJBankers Leadership Academy is an opportunity to learn the skills for moving the bank into the future and ultimately support advocating for the banking industry.
