NEWINGTON — At Skibo Ser-vices on 63 Stoddard Ave., Brian Skibo is helping local residents and others throughout New Eng-land have their vehicles looking like new.

Skibo, an auto detailing busi-ness, has been cleaning up and protecting vehicles for more than 30 years, and continues to improve its service with new products that help keep cars, trucks, RVs, boats and even small planes at a showroom shine.

One of the highlights at Skibo is the highly protective Ceramic Coating, which protects against most scratches, dirt, chemical contaminants, oxidation and more. The product, which last

for up to four years, can cost as much as $1,000, but Skibo offers the service and applica-tion for $650 (which includes a full car detail), and is one of a number of new products and services that the company began offering in April of last year.

In addition to Ceramic Coat-ing, Skibo offers compounding,

polishing and waxing for the exterior of cars and other large vehicles, while also offering interior services like shampoo cleaning of carpets and engine cleaning.

Skibo, long interested in auto shows and what went in to keep-ing cars looking flashy and new, is well-respected by his custom-ers, who have raved about the

service they receive when they come to visit him.

“Brian’s work can be summed up in three words: Professional, personal, perfection,” said Edward Tracey.
