Fortunately, they did not have to look far. With declining property values and the economic crisis showing little signs of improvement, the majority of homeowners lacked the financial resources and/or knowledge required to efficiently and effectively upgrade the homes they needed to sell; a strategy that would increase the value of the property, expedite the sale and provide them with a significant financial benefit. With that an idea was born – by drawing on the 25 years of experience and partner-ing with those same property owners, Renovation Realty could provide the resources they needed while creating a scenario that would have tremendous benefit to both parties.

Today, Renovation Realty is a full service general contractor and real estate brokerage based in San Diego, Calif. The exclusive business model solves the problem for home owners that do not have the capital to renovate and/or the knowledge of how to efficiently and effectively use what they do have to maximize their return on investment. Renovation Realty invests its own capital to renovate or update properties prior to listing them. Those funds are secured by a promissory note and deed of trust and are then repaid out at the close of escrow. From determining the most effective use of capital to the actual renovations and ultimately the sale of the property, Renovation Realty handles every step of the process with no out-of-pocket cost to the prop-erty owner.
