Career Objectives: Network Manager of a large enterprise

Prerequisits: Basic knowledge Computer Networks:

i.e. „Datenkommunikation“: Prof. Mandl, Prof.

Bakommenko, or „Netzwerke I“: Prof. Wischhof or ….

How can you reach the objectives??

Solution: Enroll in the class “Network Management” and

learn network management technology with hands on

Labs Labs based on:

- Real Network and Network Management Equipment (CISCO Routers,

Switches, Servers, WiFi and Bluetooth Networks, Firewall, Intrusion

Prevention System, Network Management Systems (HP), etc.)

- Virtual Network Platforms and Public Domain SW Tools

(Wireshark Analyser, Traffic Generators, Virtual Routers (Vyatta and

Mikrotek), Virtual LANs, etc.)

Hands-on Example: Troubleshooting Security Scenario:

ARP Poisoning in Case of a Facebook Message Transfer

“Distributed reflection Denial of Service attack”
