    Notes: Friday is the final game before the start of the 2010 NESCAC Mens Lacrosse Championship. Bowdoin, Connecticut College, and Tufts have all secured a home quarterfinal conte

    on Sunday, May 2, leaving the final home first round contest up for grabs between Amhers

    Colby, Middlebury, and Williams. A win by the Camels on Friday afternoon will give them the toseed in the tournament for the first time ever. Defending NESCAC champ Wesleyan guarantee

    itself a spot in this years championship thanks to Saturdays 16-8 win over Amherst. Winners Sundays quarterfinals will advance to the semifinals at the highest remaining seed on Saturda

    Mens Lacrosse Co-Players of the Week

    Whit McCarthy, Colby(Senior, Attacker - Darien, Conn.)

    McCarthy had nine goals and an assist for 10

    points during a 2-0 week for the Mules. On

    Tuesday in a 19-3 win over Maine Maritime,

    McCarthy tallied three times and assisted on

    a fourth score. He followed on Saturday dur-

    ing a 12-9 victory over previously-unbeaten

    Connecticut College with a career-high six

    goals, scoring three times during a five-goal

    run in the fourth quarter that put the game

    away.

    Lonny Blumenthal, Wesleyan(Senior, Attacker/Midfielder - Ballwin, Mo.)
