Rahul Mehta, (Interior and landscape designer/) I am an inte-rior and landscape designer. Also have a factory where we manu-facture exclusive furniture and exquisite landscape products like fountains, planters, theme gardens, statues.
What actually does interior design mean to you , explain in details ?As an interior designer, it’s most important to first understand the client’s budgets, his needs, habits and his life style before you set to design his space. –Interior design as often described by many does not end merely at aesthetics or space planning .It in fact is and should be a reflection of one’s identity in his living or working styles . It should blend with his habits to maximize har-mony. And most importantly exhume happiness.
The best project you have done in interiors explain : Can’t point out any one particular project as we treat each pro-ject as our first. Start and end with the same excitement and en-sure to put in our very best. Every project we do is unique in its own way … Interiors is a never ending process and you create a new design every moment….one better than the previous. The

hunger of creating a new concept is always in you and hence the best could and would never be achieved.
How many plans are offered for customized interior design project ?There are no fixed numbers of plans, it totally depends on the project and client requirement
Is there consultancy fees charged at time of meeting with the cus-tomer at the first time?Yes primarily to ascertain the seriousness of the client as also to cover the initial expenses.
After approval of the plan how long does it generally take to com-plete an interior design project?It totally depends on the work involved in the particular project and also depends on the client requirements. No doubt, time is and always should be one of the main essence of the contract.
How many new varieties of furniture you add every month via your manufacturing unit?It’s an ongoing and continuous process.

What you feel about present interior & furniture industry? Interiors have grown from the metros to the smaller cities and towns of the country.Like any other professional field, clients now realize the importance of engaging an interior designer for their housing and commercial needs. The field has and is growing multifold and both clients and designers can pick n choose
What is your future vision?Is to keep working, turning out better designs and keeping alive, the creative instinct.
