Natural wood has always been around in interior design. People enjoy it in their homes as it adds a cozy feel to the living space. In the same time quality wood elements bring elegance and sophistication to the interior.

When it comes to climbing walls, the natural wood look was the standard more than 15 years ago, simply because the coating techniques we have today were underdeveloped and that was all the industry was capable of. When technology allowed us to make bright, colorful walls with improved texture, wood-look was abandoned, only to live as a nostalgic memory of the past.

However, in recent times the wood look is making a return and it’s becom-ing hugely popular again. Whether used by itself or as a signature element of a multi-color design, it always brings warmth and makes climbers feel at home. On top of that, at Walltopia we have developed the technology to offer the same amount of friction just like the colorful panels of all Walltopia walls, without sacrificing the beauty of the wooden texture.

Three shades of wood

Walltopia natural wood comes in three shades: light, medium and dark to suit any design style and color scheme. The natural wood panels look well in combo with solid color panels or by themselves creating a homey atmosphere. Wood gives enough space to personify your wall to fit into your inte-rior goals while delivering a feeling of coziness and warmth. The rubber resistant coating makes it easy for the operators to maintain a good looking wall over time.

Friction at its best

Walltopia natural wood panels offer exactly the same amount of friction just like all Walltopia walls. A special technology that we have developed allows for the grain texture to be transparent so that it does not compromise neither the natural beauty of the wood nor the climbing experience.
