The November 2019 Lecture Series at Sealaska Heritage will focus on Southeast Alaska Native history and efforts in the political and legal arena to protect their aboriginal rights. All lectures begin at noon at the Walter Soboleff Building and are free and open to the public. This program is provided by SHI under the Preparing Indigenous Teachers and Administrators for Alaska Schools (PITAAS) program and funded by the Alaska Native Education Program. All lectures will be videotaped and posted on SHI’s YouTube channel.
