Referring to the 2009 Equal Pay Act that he signed shortly after taking office, President Obama commended Lilly Ledbetter for her courageous fight for equal pay, saying:
“As long as I'm President, we're going to keep moving forward. You can count on that. You don't have to take my word for it, you've got my signature on it.”

financial decisions, but we only earn 77 cents on the dollar.
