• Hours will be due Friday February 26th  – This consists of 10 individual hours and 10

NHS hours

 – We understand that there has been limitedamounts of opportunities for NHS hours

 – Please continue checking the NHS boardoutside of this room for hour opportunities

Folders

• Every NHS members will have a green folder 

located in the crate

• Each member is responsible for filing their 

hours in their folders

• If your last name is A – Preska your folder is

located in the crate

• If your last name is Rolando – Z it will be thereby Monday

Hour Opportunities

• The following slides will be different

Tutoring

• Every Tuesday morning we will have

tutoring in the upstairs yellow pod

• We must have at least three NHS students

there every morning to lead the tutoring

• Sign up sheets for tutoring will be on the

NHS board

St. Stephen’s Supplies Drive

• NHS and Key Club will be working in

unison for the Supplies Drive

• A member of NHS may bring 5 items for 

the drive and earn 1 NHS hour 

 – There is a limit of 3 hours for the Supplies

Drive

Bell Ringing

• We already have some people signed up

for Bell Ringing

• If you are still interested there are

opportunities posted on the NHS board

Parent’s Night Out

• Student Council will be having a parents

night out on Friday December 18th 

 – 10 volunteers are needed to help watch kids

at East Ridge High School

 – If you volunteer you must be there from 4 pm

to 11 pm

 – This is an excellent opportunity to do most of your NHS hours

• If you have any suggestions for committees or events please talk to Joaquin or Kate to get a

committee application form

 – For all that are curious running a committee or event

is required to letter
