attention to the structure of this tax system. “We are quite late already to implement this

tax system in our country; we are supposed to welcome the same. To blend the Indian

economy with the world economy, this tax system called GST is going to be helpful to

our economy. If we observe all the countries that implemented the one tax system, are

became stronger in terms of economic growth. Because of the simple and transparent

structure of GST, the tax elusion will get reduced. The system will help the Government

to increase in revenue and so automatically it will support the economical system for

    development. ” he added.

At the other hand, Dr. Sanjay Kaptan said, “the tax system is going to be very

helpful for the developing country like India. The GST system will help to make our

economy stronger. ” Further he added that, “This simple yet effective tax system is

surely motivational for the small scale, micro scale industries as well as heavy

industries. There were some problems in the previous tax system. Due to those lacunas

  • the number of tax elusion was higher. But GST is transparent yet effective one as

compare to the previous. So it will help to reduce the tax elusion.”

On the second day of the conference, Dr. P.V. Sathe while addressing to the

participants said, “plenty of developed countries had accepted the one tax system for

the taxation. As a developing country we also required the same tax system and GST is

going to do the whole needful for us.” Further he added that “Due to implementation of

GST, we can improve our GDP as well as economic growth and economic

development. So, we have to welcome this taxation system for the better. ” Dr. Sanhita
