Then meet your personal tour guide for a stop at the Air Force Memorial, memorial park and parade ground overlooking the national’s capital. Depart for American’s shrine to valor and sacrifice - Arling- ton National Cemetery. While there visit the Tomb of the Unknowns, then climb aboard a tram to visit President John F Kennedy grave site, US Coast Guard Memorial, U.S. Army Gen. John J. Pershing’s gravesite, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Memorial Amphitheater, Arlington House, and the Ord & Weitzel walking gate to see the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorials (Iwo Jima). Experience the Changing of the Guard before departing for an included dinner at Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant. Check into the Comfort Inn Gaith- ersburg for your stay. The Parade is the largest public event of the festival and combines some of the Festival’s best entertainment into one spectacular show. Preferred seating provides you with up-close encounters with celebrity ap- pearances and performances. Along the parade are several free concerts on the Mall, lantern lighting, dances and races. Mid day, board coach and depart for the Capitol Visitor Center on Capitol Hill which welcomes visitors to the seat of American government. The entire facility is located under- ground on the east side of the Capitol and features include an exhibition gallery highlighting the House & Senate while in-session, orientation theaters, cafeteria, and gift shops. Pending availability visit the United States Capital and Library of Congress. Depart for an included dinner at Tony & Joe’s on the waterfront in Georgetown.
