The College of Nursing and Health Innovations kicks off a three-week food drive to benefit the Tri-C Food Pantry on campus. The past two yearsthey’ve collected almost 1000 pounds of food. Let’s help them set a new record to alleviate food insecurity within the uTA community.

Even doctors and other health professionals make nutrition claims that are not backed by good science, which leadspeople to believe falsely about some common foods. Come unlearn the lies so you can have a full rounded perspective of what you should be doing to maintain proper nutrition.

The uTA volunteers and Tri-C Food pantry provides students with the opportunity to receive a mixture of non-perishable foods to supplement their monthly food costs. The uTA Food pantry is open for distributions on every other Thursday, from 1:00 p.M - 2:30 p.M at the Tri-C Campus Ministries location (across the street from the u.C. Starbucks). The Food pantry is open to any uTA Student, Faculty or Staff member with a uTA I.D.
