Foreword:

This book is a compilation of information sheets available from various sources. Some are

available on the internet however most have came from other schools. Having an in depth

knowledge and understanding of the topics covered in this book should mean that you

cope well with National 4/5 Graphic Communication. At the point of production there is no

commercially published alternative. If a published textbook becomes available the Faculty

will endeavour to purchase copies however it is expected that this book will remain an

important part of the course. The staff may add additional pages at a later date. If possible

pupils are in no way discouraged from purchasing their own textbook. Please use this book

to find the answers to both classwork and homework exercises. As the production of this

book has been labour intensive for staff and led to a significant cost in colour photocopying

to the Faculty, it is vital that it remains in excellent condition and on school premises at all

times. Please do not take it home.

This book will also support pupils aiming for Intermediate 2 (S5 2013/14), and later, Higher.

We hope you find this book useful and appreciate the need to treat it with respect.
