JAN PAWEŁ IIJan Paweł II (Karol Wojtyła) was born on 18 May 1920 in Wadowice.

October 16, 1978, he was elected pope and took the names of Jan Paweł II.

He was the first 455 years of non-Italian pope. He visited most of the

countries in the world - for this reason is called the "pilgrim pope" - was

held over 100 pastoral trips abroad. Jan Paweł II died on April 2, 2005. He

was canonized 27 April 2014 year.

JUSTYNA KOWALCZYK Justyna Kowalczyk was born on January 19, 1983 in Limanowa. Is a Polish ski

runner, champion and Olympic medalist, four times winner of the World Cup

ski races. With the winning 2 gold, and a total of five Olympic medals is the

most outstanding Polish athlete in the history of the Winter Olympic Games.

Adam Małysz was born on December 3, 1977 in Wisła. Is a

Polish ski jumper, multiple medalist, the most successful

player in the history of the individual world championship

competitions in ski jumping. It is four times winner of the

World Cup ski jumping.

Wislawa Szymborska was born July 2, 1923 year. She was a Polish

poet, essayist, literary critic, translator, columnist. She was the

founder members and the Polish Writers Association, winner of the

Nobel Prize in literature.

She died on 1 February 2012 in Krakow.

Kamil Stoch was born on 25 May 1987 in Zakopane. Is a

Polish ski jumper, double Olympic champion from 2014

individual world champion and winner of the World Cup of

the season 2013/2014. He won twenty-six medals at the

summer and winter Polish championships - nine victories.

Roman Polanski was born August 18, 1933 in Paris. Is a Polish film

director, actor, screenwriter and film producer. Polanski's extensive

film credits earned him many prestigious awards, m.in .: Palme d'Or

for his film "The Pianist" (2002), three Golden Globe Award, for Best

Film and Best Director - "Chinatown", Best Foreign Language Film -

"Tess" and numerous nominations for the Oscars

Agnieszka Radwanska was born on March 6, 1989 in Cracow. Is a

Polish tennis player, finalist at Wimbledon in 2012 in singles, top rated

athlete representing Poland in the history of the WTA Tour. Winner of

fourteen WTA tournaments in a single game and two in doubles. Her

younger sister Urszula Radwanska is also a tennis player.

EWA CHODAKOWSKA Ewa Chodakowska was born on February 24, 1982 in Sanok. This

is Polish fitness trainer and personal trainer. She is the author of

three books (Change your life with Ewa Chodakowska, your

Official Fitness, and the recipe for success Ewy Chodakoweskiej),

which encourages, advises and shares his knowledge on sport,

exercise, healthy living and healthy eating.

Aneta Kręglicka was born on March 23, 1962 in

Szczecin. She was a model and photo model, the first
