There are different types od narrative structure within a documentary.These are: Open there are lose ends of questions that are left unanswered so we have to think of what could have happened e.g soap operas Closed There are no lose ends within the programme and everything that is asked is answered. E.g. Finding nemo

Single strand This is where the program has only 1 narrative theme throughout the visual and focuses on one thing throughout e.g. Finding nemo There are different types od narrative structure within a documentary.These are: Multi-strand This has multiple narrative themes which can cross over and combine with other storylines so they can make a programme e.g. Soap operas.
4. 4. There are different types od narrative structure within a documentary.These are: Linear This is where they follow chronological order of what happened within the programme genre. Non- linear This is where they dont follow the chronological order of a programme and they can either flash back or forward. Circular narrative This is weather or not the programme starts and finishes at the same point in time.
