VEGETABLE GARDEN As part of our “Live Life Well Program”, our students recently planted a variety of vegetables in
garden plots in the greenhouse and beside it.
The students chose the plants during their recent visit to Bunnings in Wagga.
A huge “Thank you” to Mrs Armstrong and Ken who have helped establish this project.
The students have a roster for watering the plants each day and due to the care and weather
conditions, the plants have grown extremely quickly. In the short space of time, lettuce leaves have
been ready for picking and the infants were able to take lettuce leaves to take home last week.

THANK YOU STAFF I would like to extend my appreciation to each and every staff member for their continued dedicated
work and flexibility during a busy schedule.

been required. Each of our dedicated staff members have accommodated to ensure continued
smooth practices at school. Thank you all staff members.
LIBRARY CHANGES There is currently a ‘change–over’ taking place in school libraries from the administrative structure
of ‘OASIS’ to a new system called ‘OLIVER’.
Much preparation work has been carried out already by Mrs Armstrong and Mrs Allamby. Today,
the ladies have participated in a mandatory full-day training session via a training web-site.
The change-over is a huge task and has required many additional hours of voluntary time and
juggling other tasks. Thank you Mrs Armstrong and Mrs Allamby for your dedication and expertise.
Next Monday, the old system will change over to the new system. There will be no library
borrowing for students next week but regular routines will resume from Monday 2nd
November.
