Brahmarshi Patriji

The word ... ‘ Anapanasati ’ ... in Pali language means ... to direct one’s total attention and awareness

only on one’s normal, natural breathing process.

‘ ana ’ ... means ... ‘ in-breath ’‘ apana ’ ... means ... ‘ out-breath ’‘ sati ’ ... means ... ‘ be-one-with ’

In ‘ Anapanasati ’, attention of the mind should

constantly be on the breath. The task on hand is

effortful, joyful oneness with the breath. No mantra

is to be chanted ! No form of any deity is to be

entertained in the mind ! No hathayogic pranayama

practices like kumbhaka .. HOLDING THE BREATH

should be attempted !

Any comfortable sitting posture can be taken.

The posture should be as comfortable as possible.

Hands should be clasped .. and eyes should be

closed. The crux of the matter is to resist the

routine wanderings of the mind. Thoughts should

be cut right away, as and when they keep arising.

“ When we are with the breath-energy, the mind becomes rather empty !Then, there is a tremendous in-flow of cosmic energy into the physical body !Gradually, the hitherto dormant third-eye becomes activated .. and, by and by,

cosmic consciousness is experienced ! ”

Dr. Karan Singh

Dr. Karan Singh conceived the idea ofcombining the two of the worlds greatest symbols.. one from the East “ SHIVA NATARAJA ”, the Lordof the Cosmic Dance, and the other from the West“ PYRAMID ” .. in a single structure !

Recollects, Dr. Karan Singh : “ In the middleof 1989, when I was Indian Ambassador to theUnited States, I happened to visit SwamiSatchidananda. The main centre of the ashramis the unique ‘ LOTUS ’ .. ‘ Light of Truth UniversalShrine ’, a structure designed in the form of ahuge lotus. Inside, there are alcoves dedicatedto all the world’s great religions. This is an Inter-Faith Temple, representing in tangible terms, thegreat Vedantic insight that the truth is one, although it is expressed in many ways. ”

Dr. Karan Singh asked the Auroville EarthInstitute to design and construct a new temple.Aurovillan, Satprem Mad’ni took up the job. Hebased the pyramid temple on the dimensions ofthe great pyramid of Egypt and oriented it exactlytowards the magnetic north to generate maximum

energy. The entrance faces south, in line with theIndian tradition of Shiva as“ Dakshinamurthy ”, the Teacher of the South.

There are seven steps that lead to thetemple, seven being the number which standsfor realization. The height of the pedestal on whichthe statue of Lord Nataraj stands is such that thedistance from the third-eye to the base of thepyramid is one-third .. in doing so, the mostpowerful energy of the pyramid is concentratedon the third-eye level.

The pyramid temple is a symbol ofsecularism, where all people, can come, enterthe sanctum and meditate.

“ Inter-Faith Movement ” simply meansthat instead of being in a confrontational attitudewith each other, the great religions of the worldmake a deliberate attempt to try to understandthe essentials of all religions and to highlight thosecommon elements like compassion, love, harmony, fellowship and brother-hood.

I am Sanjay Kumar

Parmar, S/o. Late

Dhirajlal R. Parmar. I

was born on 29th

January, 1963.

I was brought up in

a small village named

“ Kalupara Ghat ”

in Orissa, which is

situated 60 km away from Bhubaneswar on the

banks of Chilka Lake.Till completion of my

matriculation, I stayed in the village. Then my

family shifted to Cuttack in 1979. I completed

B.Sc., in Cuttack in the year 1983, then studied

AMIE at Chennai for two years. Due to my health

problems, I left the course in the middle.

I returned to Cuttack and I started wholesale

medical business in the year 1987. I got married

in the year 1991 to a beautiful girl “ Bhabana ”

from Vizag. I am blessed with one son, “ Kartik ”

and a daughter “ Roma ”.

My spiritual journey started in the year 2000,when I first learnt Sujok Acupuncture Therapy atBhubaneswar and thereafter at Delhi. I wanted toserve society by sharing my knowledge and givingfree treatment to the ill and sick people. It wasmy passion and I loved to help people who aresuffering from any disease.

In 2003, I attended a seven day seminar ofProf. Park Jae Woo at Chennai. He is the founderof Sujok Therapy. He also taught us “ SmileMeditation ” and healing through it, “ TwistTherapy ”, “ Colour Therapy ”, “ MagnetTherapy ”, “ Seed Therapy ” etc. It was 23rd

December, 2003 .. the first day of my meditationpractice under the guidance of Prof. Park JaeWoo. Earlier to that, I did not know anything aboutmeditation. Now my real quest began .. to knowand learn more and more about true meditation.

In July 2004, I attended a new course ofSujok therapy (level-II) at Bhopal. Here, I learnedabout Vastu Shastra and how the faults can berectified by installing different types of pyramids

in a specific manner. Immediately, I implementedin my house and got excellent result. This is thefirst time I learnt that pyramids had the intensityand power to create the positive energy and alsoto heal the disease.

After that I came in contact with “GuidedFortune Meditation” course developed by AcharyaVed Prakashji for personal development andachievement of goal. It had benefited me to someextent but my inner search yearned for somethingdifferent.

During January 2005,once again I attendedthe seminar of Prof. Park Jae Woo at Bhopal (level-

III course). This time I got lot of experiences in myseven days training programme such asactivation of Chakras, activation of Third-eye andattaining “ no thought ” state etc. During thatperiod I had become the main attraction of Prof.Park, among all the seventy students in theseminar !

I started “ Smile Meditation Centre ” for thefirst time in my house and practiced what I havelearnt from Proffesor Park. However, very fewpeople used to come for the practice. So all thewonderful experiences which I had in Bhopal, Icould not share them with right persons.

Finally, one day, during September 2005, Imet Mrs. Shantha at Cuttack. She had first shownme a video CD on“ Spiritual Reality ” andintroduced me to“ Anapana Meditation ”.

She was havingone 2`x 2` size woodenpyramid at her houseand she used tomeditate under that. Iwas very muchimpressed because allthe experiences which

I had at Bhopal were shown in the VCD. Now, Ibecame desperate to know all the details about “Anapanasati Meditation ”, Pyramid SpiritualSocieties Movement, and its activities !

During January 2006, I attended the three

day function called “ Kaalchakra ” held at

Amaravathi in Andhra Pradesh. Along with Dalai

Lama, lot of senior great pyramid masters were

present in the function. During that period I got

the opportunity to meet Mrs.Patriji at Vijayawada

at Mr. Raghav Rao’s residence. Here, I learnt a

lot from the senior masters and finally concluded

that Anapanasati Meditation is the right type of

Meditation for all !

In February 2006, I visited Visakhapatnam

where my in-laws reside. Here, I met Dr. Gopal

Krishna and Mr Satishji. I also visited pyramid

care centre maintained by Dr.G.K. I also visited

the Vizag Pyramid Spiritual Society and C.M.R

Pyramid centre.

In March 2006, Mr.Appaji, senior pyramid

master and father of Dr. Gopal Krishna had first

visited Cuttack to teach us Anapanasati

Meditation. This was the great beginning when

all my family members were involved in practicing

meditation. Immediately, after a few days

Mr.Venkat Ramana,

senior pyramid master

from Vizag, came to

Cuttack and arranged

a few classes nearby

my house. Gradually,

we started one centre

for regular practice of

meditation at Jasoda

Sadan near my house.

In May 2006, I visited “ Maitreya BuddhaDhyan Vidya Vishwalayam ” at Pyramid Valley,Bangalore, on the occasion of Buddha Purnimafunction. Here, for the first time, I met Patriji ! Itwas the happiest moment of my life, becausePatriji personally wanted me to meet him ! Aftermeeting me he said, “ Swamiji, very soon, I willbe coming to Orissa and my dream of ‘ DhyanOrissa ’ project will start from your house. ”

In July 2006, Patriji visited Cuttack for thefirst time and conducted a class at JashodaSadan, our temporary center !

In April 2007, Patriji visited Cuttack andBhubaneswar for the second time and conductedclasses at “ Agrawal Vikas Trust ”, Cuttack, and“ Osho Dhyana Kendra ”, Bhubaneswar. Thistime, the class at Agrawal Vikash Trust was agrand success for all of us ! The entire auditoriumwas full with more than thousand people ! I amvery much thankful to all our dedicated membersof the society and all the senior masters fromAndhra Pradesh for their valuable assistance andguidance. Patriji was also satisfied as we haddone a great job in a very short span of time !

At present, we have started one permanentpyramid meditation centre by installing two 6`x 6`size wooden pyramids at our house. We havealready applied for the registration of the societyin the name of “ The Cuttack Pyramid SpiritualSociety ”. All our members are regular meditatorsand voluntary workers, all properly trained andmonitored by Dr. Gopal Krishna, Venkat Ramana,Mrs. Padma and Mr. Rama Raju. Very soon, weare planning to start “ Pyramid Young MastersAssociation - PYMA ” classes also. Our dedicatedmembers have started visiting schools, colleges, tutorials, Banks and neighbourhood for conductingclasses.

I had spent most of my life in the form of

suffering. I used to think that “ Mr. X ” is

responsible for my suffering. Always I used to

search for peace and happiness outside, in the

worldly life. However, after practicing Anapanasati,

I have realized the truth that “ real peace and

happiness is found only within one’s ownself. ”

Now, I am living my life only to experience

happiness and not to suffer ! I have understood

that no one is responsible for my so called

sufferings ! I myself am the creator and I have to

undergo all the experiences ! Nowadays, I am

leading a suffering-free-life and enjoying everyday

with tremendous inner calmness !

My father died in the year 1993. I live with my

mother Dhangouri and with my elder brother

Kedarnath, in a joint family. My younger brother

Sailesh is settled with his family at Bhubaneswar.

We all are having our own medical wholesale

business in both Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.

Now, my entire family is meditating along with

me ! I am getting whole-hearted support from all

of them in spreading meditation to others !

I would like to say that myself, my entire

family, my elder brother’s family and all our

society members have dedicated to spread the

message of Patriji throughout our life. The very

simple message is : “ Anapanasati Meditation is

the only method of meditation which will lead us

to enlightenment and therefore, everyone should

practice and become an enlightened master. ”

I am sure that we will be able to successfully

complete our “ Dhyana Orissa ” project much

before December 2008 !

I am Peeyush Prabhat, native of Patna, Bihar.

I am a final year MBBSstudent at V.M. Govt.Medical College, Solapur. My father, Mr. Arvind Kumar,is an Assistant Engineer. MyMother is a house-wife and

my sister Dr. Rashmi Roy is a doctor at Patna.

At the age of seven years, I got some intuitionof meditation .. I did it for five minutes and I wantedto continue. However, very soon I was lost in thegames with my playmates which was moreattractive to me.

The same thing happened at the age oftwelve years. After two years, I got a relaxationtechnique which was something of meditationfrom a spiritual book.

I started practicing meditation and I found itvery relaxing and energetic. I was not aware ofthe spiritual aspects or the immense power andknowledge that could be unlocked by it. Yet I waspracticing. I was not having access to anythingelse. I also started listening to the speeches ofvarious masters who used to come to Patna. Ilearned a few Yogic processes. I was so receptiveand eager to know that whatever be the source Iwas ready to get the knowledge. Thus, manymeditation methods and Yogic processes Ilearned from newspapers, TV Channels andthrough my own intuition.

The proverb, “ When the student is readyteacher appears ” holds good for me also ! In themeantime, I met a few persons who were inclinedto spirituality. They gave me some books throughwhich I learnt more than hundred meditation andrelaxation techniques. The regular practice ofmeditation increased my capacity to study. Istarted developing concentration, memory powerand, to some extent, the art of controlling my mind.I studied nicely and got a seat in All India Pre-Medical Test.

Once when I was in deep meditation, I feltthat my mind was not only blank but also goingsomewhere else. I was like gas who was diffusinginto the surroundings. All the consciousness ofroom or bed had gone. I was in completedarkness. I couldn’t speak, hear, or even movemy body. The event was causing a lot of fear inme. Then I was in a different world, very differentfrom the present one, which we perceive. Ibecame terrified and forcefully opened my eyes.My mind thought that this is not the only Universewhich we can see, but there are many more tobe discovered. I also couldn’t rule out thepossibility of being trapped in the hands of somedifferent power. But, I was completely helpless ; Iwas not able to discuss the same with anyone. As a precaution, I put a ‘ Rudrakshamala ’ aroundmy neck and continued my meditation.

After securing a seat in Govt. Medical CollegeSolapur, my routine was disturbed due to so manylectures and college activities. I was unable to

practice my spiritual processes regularly.

However, I learnt hypnotism and started to read

many Indian and Western books. After a period

of one year, I met Mr. G. Chandrashekar Reddy,

founder, “ The Solapur Pyramid Spiritual

Society ”. He motivated me a lot. He arranged my

meetings with other senior pyramid masters. I

heard a lot about Brahmarshi Patriji from him and

developed a strong desire to meet him.

One day, Patri Sir

came to Solapur for

teaching meditation.

Chandrashekar Reddy

advised me to meet Patri

Sir personally. I was

puzzled, my mind was

blank soon after Patri Sir

gave his gentle glance

over me ! I was so glad

to receive his gift that

was filling my heart with energy !

That day was the maha turning point of my

life ! I started practicing intense meditation and

reading more new age spiritual books. I told Patri

Sir, that I want to as enlightened as himself and

that is my only purpose ! He told me : “ you are

already enlightened and only thing is you have lost

that memory. ”

As I practiced meditation regularly, I passed

through many more experiences. Sometimes, I

found that my body was not there, nothing exists

in this world except consciousness. I felt, as if I

was totally paralyzed physically. Sometimes, I saw

natural scenery which I hadn’t seen before, in this

life-time. The visions were so lively that they

couldn’t be my imagination. This gave me the

message that there is no limit to consciousness.

One day, I slept after long meditation .. soon

my whole body went in an intense vibration .. there

was a jerk and I was out of my body. This event

validated the truthfulness of soul science. I got

the practical evidence.

In meditation, I communicated with many

masters and took their help for going ahead and

learned many teachings from them. I am now

supercharged with more energy at the same time

I am also worried that “ if meditation is bound to

cure all the diseases

then, what I will do with

my profession ? ”

During May

2007, on the occasion

of Buddha Poornima

Celebrations, a very

big meditation

programme was

organized in Pyramid

Valley near Bangalore. G.C. Reddy, myself and

my friend Sourabh attended the programme.

While entering the Pyramid Valley campus itself,

I was filled with great joy and a sense of great

contentment !

There, with the guidance of Patri Sir, I met

some doctors who practice alternative medicine.

I was highly influenced by the idea of Past Life

Regression Therapy (PLRT). I met Dr. Hari, one of

the PLRT practitioners. I also met Dr. Newton,

Founder, Life Research Accademy, and a world

class PLR therapist.

After I returned from Bangalore, I followed

my intuition, and referred to some quotes of

masters through internet on Past Life

Regression. I used the PLRT on myself for forty

days. One day, I

could see some of

my past life visions. I

saw myself as a lad

by the name

‘ Eric ’, a resident of

a sea-shore area in

Ghana. I was an

African. I could find

many of my relatives

in that life. I became

happy but, I was doubtful of its validity ! I went to

a nearby shop and asked for a world map and

looked for Ghana in it. I was getting very pleased

to learn that Ghana is a part of Africa. And,

naturally, there people are black and it is also on

the sea-shore. I felt very confident of my

experience !

A few days later, G.C. Reddy arranged a

session of past life regression for seven

members. In that first session, five participants

reported something from their past lives. Since

then, I conducted many more classes and about

thirty five persons got benefited because of my

activity of PLRT !

In another session, I dealt with a peculiar

case wherein a man was facing a relationship

problem with his family members. I regressed

him twice. I found that all his past lives were same

but the theme of the story was changing. After a

few days of therapy his relationship with his

members was growing better and better !

Recently, Patri Sir again visited Solapur. I

discussed so many things with him. He told me :

PEEYUSH PRABHATFinal Year MBBS, V.M. Govt. Medical College, Solapur, Maharashtra

“ Your only work is to

go to all the villages

and remote areas in

the states of Bihar

where persons are

still sleeping .. and to

put them on a right

track of meditation. ”

I promised him to do

so. I want to make all

people realize that

life will be more joyful just by practicing more and

more meditation.

Meditation is very efficacious in clearing the

clouds of negative energy. Meditation is inevitable

for ‘ self realization ’ and that is the ultimate goal

of all mankind !

On 23rd December, 2007, Patriji inaugurated

“ Sri Laxmi Narayan Pyramid Dhyana Kendra ” at

Solapur. Everyday, not less than twenty to thirty

persons are utilizing the centre for meditation !

Some of them got out of body experiences also !

As of today, over 7,000 persons have visited

the pyramid meditation centre ! A Cancer patient

completely healed himself after doing intense

meditation continuously for forty five days ! The

Solapur Pyramid Spiritual Society is conducting

regular meditation classes in the surrounding

villages.

As ordered by Patriji, after completion of my

course here in Solapur, I intend to get back to

Bihar, spread the science of meditation to all the

villagers ! All the readers .. kindly give me your

strength !!

I am Sunethra from Sri Lanka.

By profession, I am a media consultant andan author.

Throughout my professional life, my name-cards were paid by other organizations orindividuals. Now, I hesitate to give my card, because I feel that I am not the sameperson ! I feel that I have by-passed the woman knownas ‘ Sunethra ’ in Sri Lankanliterary and media circles !

Has Patriji killed me ..

or Sunethra’s overself hasdone that ? !

Patriji could be a keyparticipant in my happydeath. In the year 2007August, in his base voice, hesaid “ Go, Go and Go ” ..

when we were leaving fromthe meditation programme at Tiruvannamalai. Before that he arranged us to visit BangalorePyramid. His “ Go ” meant, “ Go and teachmeditation to many people ”. I always thoughtthat some one like Sri Ramana Maharshi has toshow the green light for me to be a meditationteacher.

Long before I met Patriji, I have beenmeditating and back-packing in India. I knew thatI was searching something or someone. I neverhad a guru. But, I knew how to meditate. In 1994,when I was in the International House of BerkelyUniversity, California, every night I floated with my

Sunethra

bed. I thought that the American beds arecomfortable even in a students hostel !

One day, when I was meditating at home inthe mid 90’s, a flash-light ignited my head for amoment. But, it didn’t change my life. Those days,I felt as if there was electrification in my hands. There was a time when I walked keeping my hand

away from the body to feelthat sensation !

Once, while I wasmeditating under a neemtree in Sarnath, I felt as if Iwas in a swing. I felt as if Iwas seated on a cushion. There was nothing betweenmy body and the nakedearth !Ever-since, it was easy forme to get into that floatingsensation at any place. I didthat even in the airports.

Once, I was able to help a distressed Indian in atrain who approached me by seeing memeditating. I had a caricature-like vision of his sonand their family problem.

I had a strange desire to see the ruins ofNalanda University in Bihar. First time when I wentthere, I saw an old well in the monks’ residentialarea, I felt as if I had lived there and there shouldbe a road that leads to Rajgir city from the otherside of the village. I even walked to the currentUniversity thinking that I will be able to stay there. It didn’t occur to me that I am a woman and onlymonks are allowed to stay there ! They directed

me to the Chinese temple which accepts a limitednumber of pilgrims. There, I got almost into atrance-like state and meditated standing outsideunder a tree. Afterwards, I felt embarrassed !

I have been dreaming to write a historicalnovel about a Sri Lankan who had gone to NalandaUniversity from Abyagiri University in Sri Lanka. Istarted reading 3rd century to 11th century literaturewith this idea. I always had a great curiosity toread about history and archeology.

I had a strange desire to visit historical citiesin Pakistan. Once, I grabbed a conferenceopportunity to Lahore, mainly to visit “ Harappa ”,“ Takshasila ” and “ Khandahar ”. I felt very muchat home in Takshasila, but a deep sadness alsowelled in my heart. At Harappa museum, I stoodby the side of a women’s skeleton for a long time.I saw her as a very tall woman having tiny marksof blood coming out of the corners of her mouth.

I mentioned the edited versions of my visionsin newspaper columns as my own imaginations.Being a highly creative person, I credited all thosethings to the account of my fiction writer’s role.

I am not a rich person. Even my house needsrepairs. I didn’t have any savings. Although I ammother of a son and a daughter, it never becamea valid reason to stop me from those strangelonely back-pack trips ! There were so many coverstories, articles and interviews about my life inprint and electronic media ! My media friends stillconsider me as an unusual woman !

There were many times when I failed tounderstand myself. I felt as if I was trapped in someother woman’s body. It was like two differentpeople sharing the same body ! I tried hard to bean average woman ! But that woman refused toinfuse into me !

I always expected 100% loyalty fromeverybody. I never met those who really practice100% truth of whatever they preach or speak.Often, I felt badly betrayed by somebody or someorganization. At the same time, such incidentspushed me to question myself and look into theother side of all sad, bad and mad moments ofmy life.

Once, I did a 104 page monthly magazinesimply to share what I read. Without any funds ora staff, I managed it for one year ! Two universitystudents volunteered to do the parcel postings. Ichanged the translation trends. Instead of payinglip service to a Minister or the President, I selectedthe difficult path and I did not know why. Myprinciples or my Indian trips did not cater to theneeds of my family. So, I had to do mediaconsultancy to earn money. I managed to retainmy freedom, do many projects, write more than25 books, do research work and edit manypublications !

I was in China from the end of the year 2000to 2004. Living alone in a nice apartment in BeijingFriendship Hotel, I tried to learn Sanskrit insteadof Chinese ! I used to meditate and do difficultyoga postures without a guru and swim inmeditation. I didn’t miss Sri Lanka, but I missedmy annual Indian pilgrimages ! It is somethingvery difficult to explain. My job was like a child’splay there. So, I used that period to write sevennovels. All those books had something aboutmeditation and “ Maitreya Buddha ” ! Except myfirst novel, all other novels had many poemswoven into some story.

An Italian friend in Beijing gave meParamahansa Yoganandaji’s photograph. Fromthe day I read his Autobiography in late 90’s, Ithought about him as one of my spiritual guides.Paramahansaji appeared to me in a dream in the

SPIRITUAL INDIA January - February 200817

year 2006 and blessed me ! He said certainthings. But now I am unable to recall what hesaid. After that, things started moving quickly. Iwent to Sri Ramana Ashram in Tamil Nadu, India.I had many meditation experiences there. I wrote“ Vichithra Veerya ”, a book about that trip ! Lastyear, I went to Sri Ramana Ashram four times, Ifelt as if I was going to my father’s house !

I wanted to win an international award to findenough money to build a “ Maitreya BuddhaAshram ”, library, and a hospital complex ! Aftervisiting Bangalore Pyramid, I felt that Patriji hasalready carved it into a reality ! I always had aclear vision about the things that should be donein such a place. While I was still dreaming, thismaster has already achieved it !

We went to Kerala on Pyramid MasterMinood’s invitation. His cousin Resmi also cameto meditate with us. We got a message and highenergy from a higher being through Resmi. Wenever expected such a thing ! Soon after that,Minood and Resmi went to Hyderabad to attendDr. Newton’s programme. We were asked toremain in Kerala until they return. I was not in aposition to move around. I felt like a drunkenperson. When I was meditating, I felt as ifsomeone was drilling the middle of my head. Isaw myself as a very poor tribal woman in Peruand Minood’s wife “ Deepa ” as my daughteralmost dying in starvation. When I felt a little better,we went to Kanyakumari and came back to hearabout Minood and Resmi’s experience. By thattime I didn’t have any pain. But, I was in constantmeditation. Resmi said that I had a astralsurgery !

Minood did a regression for me, and I hadthe death experience. I was breath-less for sometime. Then I went into a bright-light. At once I satin lotus position and I was in that position for aboutone hour even after I opened my eyes ! I felt

Resmi’s husband Ajith as my son and I even toldhim, “ why didn’t I recognize you my little boy ?You were very naughty those days ! ” But, I didn’thave any vision and I do not know why I said that. But before that, he told Resmi that he feels likecalling me “ Ma ” !

After the regression, I felt as if my whole bodywas cleansed ! It was like putting a long coir brushto a dirty bottle ! I felt rejuvenated. Soon after thatwe returned home. But, I did not want to teachsimple pranayama to anybody. Sri Lanka is full ofVipassana Meditation Centers. Average SriLankans know most of the Buddhist stories andstanzas by heart. But, I noticed that even thosewho attend meditation programs do not know howto stop the constant inner thought-waves. So, Ithought, “ if I am to teach meditation, I should beable to find a way to transfer that knowledge tothe seekers. Going to a temple, sitting still andclosing eyes for half an hour or reciting prayer-like well-wishing verses is not meditation ! ”Although I was able to stop my inner thoughts,“ how to teach it to the others ” became the realchallenge.

One day, when I was meditating at home, many breathing techniques came to my mind. Then I tried those with my daughter-in-lawVasana, my husband Nihal and daughter Vidarshi.Their responses encouraged me.

Throughout my life, I never encouraged my‘ fans ’ to visit my home. One day, a younggeologist called on me. Before I met Patriji, whenshe wanted to meet me, I asked her to come to adrama festival, where I was a jury member. Butthat day, in last September, when she called, Iallowed her to come home. She came as a‘ fan ’ who wanted to tell her story. But, I suggestedher to do meditation ! My new breathingtechniques worked very well with her ! Then Iinvited six others to meditate ! That day, I got upearly morning and cooked as if I was getting readyfor a party ! I never had any parties at my home.

SPIRITUAL INDIA January - February 200818

My middle class parents always tried to live abovetheir financial level. However, I always shunnedsuch events. By the time we came to meet Patrijiin the year 2007 December, we have had 32meditation sessions at our home for a total of 36people ! Every time it became such a pleasure tocook food for the meditators !

I see yogis when I get lost in meditation. Evenin the years 2005 and 2006, I saw some handsgarlanding me. I thought that I was ‘ imagining ’ allthose things. But, I do not have any control overthose experiences. I do not know where I go.Trivendrum Pyramid Master Supriya told Patrijiabout some of my experiences. I told Patriji, “ No,I am not going to tell you ”. He simply said, “ Mysmall ears are waiting to hear this big story ”. Then,I started telling him about how I was unable to comeout of meditation even after two hours. It happenedat the huge shed at Tiruvannamalai “ AhimsaDhyana Maha Yagnam ” programme. All othershave gone for lunch. But Supriya waited for me. Iwas engulfed in light ! Twice I felt as if someonewas holding ‘ arathi ’ to me ! I felt the incensesmell very strongly. After I came out of it, I wasunable to speak. That night, I managed to speak. Then I asked Supriya about that smell. Althoughshe was not meditating, she too got the smell andshe looked around to find the source. However, she could not see anybody taking an incenseburner.

Before I came to that part of the story, Patrijisaid that my daughter and I were Tibetan Masters. The names he mentioned sounded too high forus ! I asked Minood and others whether he wasjoking. “ Patriji won’t joke about such things ” ..

they all said. But I found it difficult to accept.

Next day, in Tiruvannamalai, I told Patriji aboutthe breathing techniques I use. Then again hesaid : “ My dear, you were .. and your techniquehas been perfected many centuries ago ! Sonothing wrong with it ! ”

Patriji hummed a tune in two different waysand asked me whether there is any difference in

the basic raga. His heart is so large ! It has enoughspace to understand, accept and appreciateanother person .. or a different technique !

When I heard this Tibetan Past Life story forthe third time from Patriji, I went to the RamanaAshram Library. I found the necessary books. Ihad the shock of my life ! Many words that Ialready used in my books and even some of mypoems are much similar to that historical figure’spoems and words ! At once, I understood whatthat Tibetan Master mentioned about holding twoBuddhas on his palm ! I realized the breathingtechniques I have been using belong to a verysecretive ancient esoteric practice ! If I knew that,I would not have given it so easily to everybodywho came to my home !

Minood’s wife Deepa’s uncle told them that Iappeared to him in his meditation. That I eventold him that I am from Sri Lanka ! He told Minoodand Deepa about it. I laughed and said “ themoment he really sees me he will say that thewoman he has seen is much more saintly thanthis ‘ Sunethra ’ ”. Anyway, the day I met him inKerala, Pyramid Master “ Glenda ” and herhusband Richard from England happened to bethere. Glenda witnessed the scene. I do not wantto write more details. Yes .. I have seen uncleShashi’s face in my meditation. But I did not knowhe is from Kerala. Even before I left for Kerala, Itold my friend Tania, about a disused shrine or atemple in that uncle’s village. I did not want to talkabout it even to Minood. But that day after teachingsome of the breathing techniques to Glenda andthe group who gathered at Minood’s house, I wascompelled to question about the temple. Theanswer was “ Yes ” !

Now you understand why I have a lovingaccusation towards Patriji for ‘ killing ’ me !! Hetriggered something and many things becameclear. Yes, now, I can call myself a “ MeditationTeacher ” or a “ Yogini ”. YES I AM THAT!

I am Tadepalli Venkata Surendra Nath. I am working as software engineer in USA for the last

seven years. In my childhood, I was attacked by ‘ Polio ’ and my right leg became very weak, as a

result I cannot walk properly. For the last one year, I am unable to walk even for five minutes. I am

falling down while walking. I could not find much use with the medical treatment and worrying about

rest of the life.

I am a devotee of ‘ Shirdi Sai Baba ’. Five months back (May 2007), first time I met Mr. R.S. Gandhi

in one of the “ Art of Living Satsang ”. Very next day, when I met him again in Shirdi Sai temple,

unexpectedly I shared my problems with Mr.Gandhi. He listened to my problems, with kind heart and

suggested me to live with courage and self-confidence.

Mr. Gandhi explained in detail to me about the anapanasati meditation and its importance. He

also suggested me to practice anapanasati meditation as a daily activity at least for thirty to forty five

minutes per day. I strongly believe that Shirdi Sai Baba himself came to me in the form of

Mr. Gandhi. I have started focusing on my breath as suggested by him. Surprisingly, just after one

month of meditation practice, I was able to walk one kilometer at a stretch, without any problem !

This is really an unbelievable experience ! I shared my experience and happiness with Mr. Gandhi

and all my friends.

Free of cost, he taught me the meditation technique, and also he gave me the

“ Dhyanamrutham ” (MP3 CD) and “ Spiritual Reality ” VCD. Let me say honestly, just this small

collection itself became a Spiritual Library in my home. Rest of my life, I cannot forget Mr. Gandhi’s

help. Mr. Gandhi wanted me to pay him Guru Dakshina, only by way of practicing and teaching

anapanasati meditation to as many people as I can, free of cost. I am promising that with full dedication

and devotion, I will do my level best. When I was trying to convey my thanks to him, he mentioned

that I should thank our respectable Brahmarshi Patriji. Even though I don’t know directly about the

master, I sincerely and whole-heartedly request Brahmarshi Patriji to accept my pranams and thanks.

Now, I realize that, there is nothing more powerful than anapanasati meditation. ‘ Dhyanaabhi

Vandanamulu ’ .. to all anapanasati practitioners

During the year 2007 the “ Ahimsa DhyanaMaha Yagnam ” was conducted atTiruvannamalai, a holy and sacred town in theState of Tamil Nadu, South India. This place isholy because many masters like Bhagawan SriRamana Maharshi had attained enlightenmenthere.

Ever since Tiruvannamalai had been chosenas the venue of the “ Ahimsa Dhyana MahaYagnam ” by Brahmarshi Patriji, all ground workstarted in full swing right from the month of May,2007 itself. Under the direction of BrahmarshiPatriji hundreds of pyramid masters from variousparts of the country, especially from Andhra

Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu

Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, put their heart and soulto make this week long function a grand event inevery respect !

“ Ahimsa Dhyana Maha Yagnam ” conductedin Tiruvannamalai had a special significancebecause the accent was on ‘ Ahimsa ’ and‘ Vegetarianism ’.

The “ Ahimsa Dhyana Maha Yagnam ” wasinaugurated by two great spiritual icons of ourcountry, having their roots in Tamil Nadu, namelyPadma Bhushan, Arutchelvar, Dr. N. Mahalingam, leading industrialist of South India and Mr. D.R.

“ Dhyana Yagnam ” is the New Age Yagnam to propitiate the Gods that

we are ! It is conducted to awaken the hitherto Dormant Divinity in us and to

lead us in the grand path of Spiritual Enlightenment. The Energy generated

and received during the week-long ‘ Dhyana Mahotsavam ’ enables us to

better accomplish our life-purpose ! Since 1998, Brahmarshi Patriji, along

with the pyramid masters of the Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement(PSSM), has been conducting such Dhyana Yagnams at various places in the

country .. beginning on 25th December and concluding on 31st December of

Kaarthikeyan I.P.S., and former C.B.I. Director. The two dignitaries were taken around by Patriji ..

first to the ‘ Patanjali Pyramid ’ constructed withbamboo in the campus and a brief meditation wasconducted there. Thereupon they were takenaround various stalls installed in the campusdisplaying world class Spiritual Books, Pyramidsof various sizes and materials, CDs, Cassettesand the Publications of PSSM.

The guests of honor were ushered on to thedias by Brahmarshi Patriji and greeted by scoresof young pyramid masters, standing on either sideof the red carpet, holding decorated lamps.Thereafter, ‘ Kuttuvillakku ’ (Lamp) was lit by thedignitaries on the dias. After the invocation, inmeditation, for a brief period, was conducted byPatriji.

Brahmarshi Patriji said in his welcomespeech :

“ We are all united because of ourcommitment to the ‘ twin concepts ’ of‘ Ahimsa ’ (non-violence) and ‘ Dhyana ’(meditation). Only these two conceptsare capable of bringing peopletogether. Only spiritual science hasdiscovered that the health of the bodyis largely dependent upon peace ofthe mind. And, peace of mind, in turn,is dependent upon spiritual wisdom. To make the mind peaceful, harmonious, restful, tranquil, healthyand happy, we have to do meditation. There is only one meditation calledthe Anapanasati meditation given byGautama Buddha. ”

“ Pyramid energy is verypowerful. The knowledge of pyramidshas come from other galaxies ;masters have come from othersystems and planned the pyramidson our Earth. We have started thisPyramid Spiritual SocietiesMovement, which means, we utilize

pyramid energy for meditation .. andour goal is to construct pyramidseverywhere. Every city, every town, every village and every house shouldhave pyramids. That is our specificgoal, apart from greater goals ofspreading Ahimsa, Vegetarianism, and meditation. This is the true blue-print for world welfare, for the Earth’smagnificence to manifest. We are allGods, but we are unable to manifestour magnificence because many ofus are non-vegetarians and non-meditators.

“ We will be doing a lot ofmeditation on all these days andhearing the wisdom from many greatmasters who have great third-eyevisions and messages and also seentheir past-lives. They are allexperienced masters. There will bea lot of sharing of experiences here.We all, come from different parts ofthe world have gathered here toexchange our respective wisdom andexperience, and to make friendshipwith each other. ”

Dr. N. Mahalingam, recipient of the PadmaBhushan award for his outstanding work to thecitizens of India, hails from an Agriculture familyand is now the chairman of many industries. Heis a great philanthropist having a spiritual bent ofmind. He is deeply involved in the “ SuddhaSamarasa Sanmarga Sangha ” at Vadalur inTamil Nadu which was started by Saint Vallalar. He has also brought out a book containing detailedexplanation of Tirukkural by Saint Tiruvalluvar ofTamil Nadu.

His inaugural speech was as under :

far and wide, within our country and abroad. Eventoday it remains a mystery as to how the hugeblocks of stones were lifted or moved to build thegreat pyramid at Gizeh. In olden days in Egypt,Mexico and China, great masters used to sit inthe pyramids and communicate with others inother parts of the world telepathically.

“ On this great occasion, I call upon thepeople to preserve and continue the old traditionof dhyana in pyramids and the basis of dhyana is‘ vegetarianism ’. After reading the story of Buddhain school in my 4th class, I gave up eating non-vegetarian food. Even though my parents and allelders at home were non-vegetarians, theypermitted me to be a vegetarian ! So, I salute allof them for their generosity and taking upvegetarianism has lead me in the religious andspiritual path. ” He assured that the SuddhaSamarasa Sanmarga Sangha at Vadalur in TamilNadu will be with PSSM, in future, in spreading themessage of vegetarianism and spirituality.

Mr. D.R. Kaarthikeyan said in his speech :“ It is important for each of us to be able to createharmony amongst our body, mind and soul andfind happiness everywhere.Though we have allthe facilities in our lives, in the personal and sociallife we do not enjoy peace of mind. Hence, achange is called for within each individual. Toachieve this, we have to take up the path of‘ Ahimsa ’ and ‘ Spirituality ’. ”

He recalled the names of outstanding sportspersonalities and artistes etc. who have taken tovegetarianism and have become world famouspersonalities. He lauded the work being done byPatriji, so very quietly with his whole band ofcommitted masters in the field of spirituality. Hewent around and perused the banners containingabout 1500 spiritual quotations, made by somededicated pyramid masters. He congratulated theteam entire for this great work.

Each day, after the inauguration from 26th

December onwards, about 5000 membersparticipated in the group meditation conducted byBrahmarshi Patriji every morning from 6 am to 8am. The accompaniment of Sitar, Tabla andPatriji’s melodious Flute music made theatmosphere charged with abundant energy ! Manymembers had beautiful third-eye visions !

On 26th of December, 2007 the “ MeditationTeachers Training Programme ” was inauguratedby D.R. Kaarthikeyanji. Many had enrolledthemselves to undergo this five day trainingprogramme in New Age spiritual science andpyramid technology organized by PSSM.

Every day from 10 am to 1 pm various well-known personalities from Tiruvannamalai anddignitaries from other parts of India and abroadaddressed the gathering. Afternoon sessions wereearmarked for exchange of experiencesconducted by senior pyramid masters.

Every evening from 5 pm onwards, allmeditators again assembled for one hourmeditation and discourse by Brahmarshi Patriji. The arrangements made on the stage and theconduct of programmes was exemplary. Thearrangements at the food section were alsoremarkable serving delicious food to about 7000individuals three times a day !

The “ Ahimsa Dhyana Maha Yagnam ” cameto a close on 31st December, 2007 by mid-nightwhen the curtains were drawn after BrahmarshiPatriji’s announcement :

“ 2008 ‘ Dhyana Maha Yagnam ’will be named as ‘ Shanthi AhimsaDhyana Maha Yagnam ’ and wouldbe conducted in the City ofBangalore, Karnataka. “

I am Sunitha.

I was born in a town,

Madanapalle, in Chittoor District,

Andhra Pradesh. My parents are

Mr. Madhusudan and Mrs. Jyothy. I

have two younger brothers.

As a child, I was not perfect in

doing anything. I never had

confidence in myself. I always looked into my

frailties and was awkward at expressing myself.

But my parents were a great moral support to

me. They encouraged me in every step and gave

me whatever I wanted.

Due to some business conditions, we were

forced to shift to Chennai. Therefore, half my

education was in Andhra Pradesh and the other

half in Tamil Nadu.

I did my graduation in Meenakshi College of

Chennai. I was brought up in a joint family and

this gifted me with good qualities like giving

respect, co-operation, love and affection etc. Our

family was not very familiar to society because

we were least participating in social and

devotional gatherings.

My life partner is Jagdish. I got

married to him soon after my

graduation. However, I was

unaware of all household works. In

spite of this, I was treated with great

respect because I was the only

educated member of their family.

But, Jagdish was quite

different in his character ! He was

not sincere in his work, no

responsibility and he was very harsh in words.

This was a very new experience for me because

all these are just opposite of my character.

Whenever I was disturbed .. I used to go to our

pooja room and sit silently till my emotions calm

down and then I pray to God saying “ Give me all

the strength and patience to bear these

situations ”.

Financially, both my parents and in-laws

were all quite well off. But myself and my children

had always to depend on them because Jagdish

did not have a regular income. These situations

although disturbing to me, they also created a lot

of self-confidence in me. Then I started working

as an agent for some insurance company and

later started a Pre-School which supported me

and my family needs.

In such conditions, we came in touch with

Anapanasati Meditation ! Initially, my mother

started meditating in our family. She learnt it from

her brother “ Reddy Sudhakar ” from Vayalpad.

She used to tell us “ Do meditation ; everything

will be resolved ”. But, I never took it seriously. I

only meditated once in a while. Slowly, Pyramid

Masters started coming to Chennai on their

personal works and staying in my mom‘s house.

This was a great opportunity for us to hear about

their experiences and their transformations.

Once Sri Premnath, senior pyramid master

from Adoni, visited Chennai on some work. He

asked our Children, i.e. my son Vishnu, 12, my

daughter Manasa, 8, my brother’s sons Ankit, 9,

and Harshit, 5, to sit in front of him and meditate !

With Premnath sir’s guidance these children

experienced many things which were surprising

and this changed my attitude on Meditation and

from that day onwards I meditated regularly ! So,

I call children as “ my little Masters ”.

I met Patriji for the first time in Tirupati five

months after I have started my meditation. This

brought a great

change in my life.

With his simple words

Patriji relieved me

from all the burdens. I

was thinking I was

responsible for my

husband’s and my

children’s problems.

But, Patriji made me

realize that they are responsible for their own

problems and I have to think of my own ! These

words made me feel very light !

From then on, I started observing Patriji and

all the other pyramid masters whom I met and I

learnt how to think, how to talk, what to do and

what not to do. I was always indirectly getting right

direction from Patriji whenever I required. I never

asked my Guru what I wanted, but I was getting

everything I need from him !

More than a Guru, Patriji is my best friend !

His every word, his sincerity and dedication

towards work, his aim inspired me a lot and he

stood as a great role model for me.

Doing regular meditation, my health improved

a lot. I was able to work more actively than before

and also round the clock ! In my Pre-School, I

made all little children .. below 3 years .. do

meditation every day and as a result my school

has now become one of the best ! Although I am

not very good in Tamil, I am able to conduct

classes, do corrections for Tamil magazine,

design the pamphlets, organize programmes for

Patriji in Tamil Nadu

which are all very new

to me !

Jagdish also

started doing

meditation after we

met Patriji in Tirupati.

Since then, his life-

style has changed totally ! The changes are

unbelievable !! He realized where he was going

wrong and instantly corrected himself !! He is now

very affectionate and more responsible towards

family !! He wanted to share his happiness with

everyone and now he is teaching meditation

throughout Tamil Nadu !! He has become a Giant

Master !! My heartful thanks to Meditation and

Patriji !!

Now I would like to share some of my

experiences in meditation. I had many third-eye

experiences in the form of intuitions which gave

me self-knowledge and helped me to understand

the hidden Truths.

At first, I saw my aunt who was in coma for

one and half month and who vacated her body

eight years ago, before we started meditation. I

could hear a voice saying the reason for this. The

message was : “ She came to this world with

some purpose and this was completed with her

daughter’s wedding, but her life-time was still

remaining. When her sub-conscious mind gave

her this information, she decided .. she did not

have any work with this world .. so she went into

coma till her last breath and then she vacated

her body ”. This was a very exciting message

and I shared it with all my family members.

Once I got a message from Sufi masters.

They gave their message very strongly which

Islamis are following even to this day. For this, I

have got three examples.

 Idol worship is not required.

Maintaining silence is the only way of praying.

Ladies do not require group meditation, as

they are in higher state by birth.

In Islam, these principles are being followed

strictly. However, they may not be enjoying the

benefits fully .. because they are not following

Vegetarianism !!

One day, Master Krishna appeared before

me showing whole Universe to his mother

Yashoda. A question arose in me .. “ where was

the necessity for Krishna to show such miracle

to Yashoda who was already very affectionate to

him ? ” Then, I got a message saying that it was

for our understanding that he did it .. “ when we

surrender ourselves towards self without any

expectation .. the whole creation is within us ;

then, we see everything outside. ”

I always remember my grandfather who

used to say during my childhood, “ this girl will be

gifted with great wealth after her wedding ”.

However, no such symptoms were seen in my

life before meditation. One day, I heard a voice

saying “ did you find the wealth ? ” Then, I

understood that by ‘ wealth ’ what he meant was

not money .. it was the great ‘ Knowledge of

Self ’ .. which give us permanent happiness

in life !

To conclude, all our family members are

enjoying the bliss of meditation and they have

stepped forward into the society at large, to

spread the messages of ‘ Vegetarianism ’ and

‘ Anapanasati Meditation ’ so that everyone can

live with total health and happiness !

Today, I feel very fortunate to have met a group of meditators from the “Mysore Pyramid Spiritual

Society”. A few months back, they came on their own initiative to our school to teach meditation to all

the students. Since then, Shri R. Natraj .. a senior meditator .. has been visiting our school regularly on

every Saturday to conduct meditation classes for forty five minutes in the morning prior to start of the

study classes. He also has been constantly telling the students that each one of them has immense

potential within them and this potential can only be put into proper action through meditation. He has

also emphasized on the students that God is within them, that God is their inner guide who will listen to

their sincere prayers only when their mind is silent.

The students are doing meditation daily for twenty minutes in school. Apart from this, they report

that they are doing it at home regularly. The meditation technique is so very simple that the children

enjoy it and are doing it without coercion from us ! The students have reported better concentration and

memory and feel confident in their subjects.

Shri Nataraj has been encouraging and motivating the students of 9th and 10th standards, especially

as the education has become very competitive nowadays and they have to score very high marks to rise

up effortlessly in their professional career. He was also very kind to screen the VCD

“ Spiritual Reality ” to the whole school .. to stress on regular meditation and also to create awareness

of the various happenings they may experience during meditation.

I thank the members of the “ Pyramid Spiritual Society ” for their unselfish support to our students

and staff. Thanks are not only from me but also from the entire students and staff !

ToBrahmarshi Patriji

Firstly, I would like to thank you for your continued work and tireless service towards the evolutionof consciousness in the world.

As with all beings who are connected to the light, you acknowledge and promote the spread ofmeditation and vegetarianism, without the dogma many traditions attach. These two things are by farthe most important to be shared in order to accelerate the transformation of this planet.

I would also like to express appreciation of the way in which the Pyramid Spiritual Societiescombine the messages of many masters from varied traditions, coalescing in the unified messageof consciousness evolution. Especially enjoyable are the selections from the Theosophical Tradition, which are often overlooked in the field today !

I write this letter as a friend and ally in planetary transformation. I would like to offer the opportunityand a location for the PSSM to present it’s teachings in Honolulu, Hawai, any time, after November2008. As well, we can offer the initial PR, and we will be spreading the message of Anapanasati, andpyramid power in the meantime.

Finally, I would like to extend the greetings of the “ Rainbow Family of Living Lights ” and thesolidarity of all other beings, masters or not .. who are working towards the harmonious convergence, and full awakening of consciousness here or Mother Gaia.

Thank you for shining your light in so many…

The process of dealing with the mind, its

negativities, its emotions, feelings, and attitudes,

is the key to spiritual growth.

Each thought and feeling that you have about

yourself is expressed on an inner plane as

‘ energy ’ ; and that energy, interacting with the

Universal Law, creates the events and

circumstances of your life.

You can watch this inner energy by watching

what is around you. Do you have nothing but

Stuart Wilde .. is one of the real characters of the self-help, human-potential movement. Stuart’s books have beentranslated into twelve languages. A few excerpts from the book “ The Force”.

beauty and a richness of life? Or are there areas

that you would like to improve? By looking at your

INNER SELF, you grow, and in doing so, you expand

the level of THE FORCE you express.

As was said, THE FORCE is a totally positive

energy. It cannot be a part of negativity, for its

evolution is beyond that. If you stand in an alley

with a big stick in your hand and your brain and

rob the first unfortunate who happens along, THE

FORCE is not a part of that act.

THE FORCE .. is in the stick, in the blood, and

in the wallet you stole, but it is not responsible for

the event, nor does it experience the event as

‘ negativity ’. It has no emotion; it is just a divine

energy, an observer, not a participant. It evolves

in a dimension of perception beyond the physical

and is yet a part of it.

The more you train your mind and feelings

to emphasize the positive, the more you become

like THE FORCE, a divine observer, not connected

emotionally with the frailties of human life.

However, more is involved than just taking a

positive attitude to life. You have to begin to look

at whatever limitations lie in the INNER YOU, for THE

FORCE is unlimited, and the less restricted you

become, the more of THE FORCE you will express.

Every time you turn and face yourself and look at

your reactions and feelings, you basically clean

away another small particle of debris that has

accumulated.

In the legend of the Holy Grail, this facing of

one’s inner uncertainties is symbolized by the

slaying of the dragon. In overcoming limitation,

you move closer to the next dimension .. a

dimension of unparalleled exhilaration, existing

beyond day-to-day perceptions. In actuality, you

begin to leave the earth plane, for even though

your body might still be here, your inner energy is

moving away from the physical. This creates an

island of strength and beauty all around you, and

from that island .. you, as the quiet observer ..

look back at the world. You become the same as

THE FORCE in the stick the robber used in the alley,

not reacting to the emotions of others, living your

own creation, a world apart.

“ Ah ! But, what about helping others ? ”, you

might ask. If you go deep within yourself and clear

out the negativity here, you begin to raise your

energy. As you do so, you will help others .. not

because you have assisted them materially .. but

because you have raised your consciousness.

This might sound obscure, but it is a cosmic fact

that first you have to heal yourself, you have to

find the grail, before you will ever be much use to

others.

You can send them a bag of rice, if you wish,

but that will not increase, by one iota, their

expression of THE FORCE.

To really help people, you have to show them

how to increase their power, and if you have not

completed your own journey, what will you show

them ? Confusion ? Once you have raised your

energy, people will be pulled to you automatically.

You will not have to go out and say, “ Come here,

I’ll heal you ”. People will come to you because

those who are growing spiritually seek examples

of THE FORCE, which is moving faster than they

are, for such examples enhance their own

expression of beauty by causing their energy to

move faster.

As you develop, your perceptions become

more acute. You experience extrasensory

powers, or clairvoyance or clairaudience or ..

more likely, clairsentiousness (a heightened sense

of feeling), and you find yourself in places and

situations where you just know what is going to

happen next.

Meditation is the process of learning to clearthe mind and emotions of automatic reactions andreplace them with clear thinking and observationin the light of the soul.

Those who learn to do real meditationincrease their joy and creative living even if theylive in life’s most trying circumstances.

Meditation in the New Age is creative thinkingthrough the light of Intuition and in conformity withthe Divine Plan.

In the New Age,meditation will involve notonly the mystical efforts ofhumanity, but it will involve,as well, the political, educational, philosophic, artistic, scientific, religious, and economic fields. It willcreate harmony within andbetween all these fieldsunder the rhythm of theDivine Plan, of the DivineWill. Thus, meditation will be not only to gaininsight, to contact great powers, to have inspirationand joy .. but also to bring them down to practicallife, to transform our life on all levels, healing thewounds of humanity, building bridges andrevealing the unity, the synthesis behind allcreation.

The purpose of meditation is to annihilatehindrances on the path of expansion and to makeyou more aware of your cosmic relationships andyour cosmic destiny.

Meditation leads you into freedom, andinstead of being the slave of your egocentric view-points and cravings, you become a part or evenone with the cosmic view-point. Thus, you helpto end the misery of all former civilizations whichgrew out of human tears, sufferings, pain, andblood.

Meditation is a process of harmonization andattunement with the purpose of the incomingenergies from the higher realms and from outerspace. Our civilization and culture are the result

of our responses andreaction to the incomingenergies. These energiesmay hinder our progresstoward liberation .. if we arenot ready to assimilate andtranslate them through ourlife and consciousness, orthey may stimulate andrelease our inner glory .. ifwe are able to respond tothese energies in purecompassion and in activeservice to our fellow men.

Meditation prepares us to become sensitiveto these incoming energies. It enables us to becharged with them and to translate them in theform of light, love, and will-to-good. This is how a“ new age man ” is born .. a man who is in tunewith the purpose of the incoming energies andwith the highest aspirations of humanity.

Meditation makes you more able in your dailyduties and works because it increases your rightjudgment, sharpens your power of observation, increases your control over your body, quickensyour actions and makes them more accurate.

MIRDAD : “ There is no judgment in my mouth,

but Holy Understanding. I am not come to judge

the world, but rather to unjudge it. For, ignorance

alone likes to be decked in wig and robe and to

propound the law and mete out penalties. The

most unsparing judge of Ignorance is Ignorance

itself ! ”

“ I say to you, there is not God and Man. But

there is ‘ God-Man ’ or ‘ Man-God ’. There is the

One. However multiplied, however divided, it is

forever One ! ”

“ God’s oneness is God’s everlasting law. It

is a self-enforcing law. Nor courts, nor judges,

does it need to publish it abroad or to uphold its

dignity and force. The Universe .. the visible of it

and the invisible .. is but a single mouth

proclaiming it to all who have but ears to hear.

to writing on the deeper meaning of life. His works are acclaimed as‘ classics ’ across the entire Arabic speaking world. To the English speaking

single sphere ? Are not the spheres .. though

numberless .. a single universe ? Likewise, is

mankind but a single Man. Likewise, is Man .. with

all his worlds .. a singleness complete ! ”

“ God’s oneness, my companions, is the only

law of being. Another name for it is LOVE. To know

it and abide by it, is to abide in LIFE. But to

abide by any other law, is to abide in

non-being, or Death. ”

“ Life is a gathering in. Death is a scattering

out. Life is a binding together. Death is a falling

away. Therefore is Man .. the dualist .. suspended

twixt the two. For, he would gather in, but only

through scattering out. And he would bind, but only

by unbinding. In gathering and binding, he is in

keeping with The Law and Life is his reward. In

scattering and unbinding he sins against The Law

and Death is his bitter prize. ”

“ Yet, you .. the self-condemned .. would sit

in judgment over men who are, like you, already

self-condemned. How horrible the judges and the

judgment !

“ Less horrible, indeed, would be two gallows.. birds each sentencing the other to the gallows !

Less laughable two oxen in one yoke, each saying

to the other ‘ I would yoke you ’ ! Less hideous

two corpses in one grave, exchanging

condemnations to the grave ! Less pitiful two

stone-blind men, each plucking out the other’s

eyes ! ”

“ Shun every judgment seat, my

companions. For, to pronounce a judgment on

anyone, or anything, you must not only know The

Law and live conformably thereto, but hear the

evidence as well. Whom shall you hear as

witnesses in any case at hand ? Shall you

summon the wind into the court ? For, the wind

aids and abets in any happening beneath the

sky ! Or shall you cite the stars ? For, they are

privy to all things that take place in the world ! ”

“ Or, shall you send subpoenae to the dead

from Adam till this day ? For, all the dead are living

in the living ! ”

“ To have an evidence complete in any given

case, the Cosmos must needs be the witness.

When you can hail the Cosmos into court, you

would require no courts. You would descend from

judgment seat and let the witness be the judge. ”

“ When you know all, you would judge none.”

“ When you can gather in the worlds, you

would condemn not even one of those who

scatter out. For, you would know that scattering

condemned the scatterer. And, rather than

condemn the self-condemned, you would then

strive to lift his condemnation. ”

“ Too over-burdened now is Man with burdens

self-imposed. Too rough and crooked is his road.

Each judgment is an added burden, alike to the

judge and the judged. If you would have your

burdens light, refrain from judging any man ! ”

A spirit’s home in the spirit realms is a precisereflection of its life achievement and / ortransgression while on earth.

After it has adapted to its new world, it is quitecommon for a newly arrived soul to be greetedby a spirit teacher and taken on a tour, so to speak,to witness the various levels and expressions ofspiritual life. This excursion demonstrates howfar a spirit has risen in soul consciousness aswell as how it can attain a higher level of spiritualgrowth.

There are as many levels of spiritual regions

as there are mind-sets. You are responsible

for creating your heaven, or your hell, based on

your thoughts, words and deeds. The

environment is within each person. Ordinary

people who attempt to live decent life on earth by

respecting one another .. and demonstrating love

whenever they can .. have no need to worry about

their after-life existence. They will gravitate

to a wonderful level of unlimited peace,

joy, love !

James Van Praagh

James Van Praagh has touched the lives of millions through his

extraordinary ability to communicate with the world beyond. He conveyed the

message that death is not the end, that our departed loved ones are a part of

our daily lives, and that one day we will reconnect with them in our heavenly

homes. A few excerpts from his book “ Reaching to Heaven ”.

As you begin to look around, the first thingyou would observe is incredible beauty ! You woulddiscover radiant, manicured gardens as far asthe eye can see with each flower bursting forth inbrilliant color ! The vivid colors in the spirit worldare beyond our natural, earthly spectrum !Everything in this environment is literally ‘ lit up ’and crystal clear !

The light of realm does not originate from anysun or star, it is known as the ‘ Astral Light ’. Thisillumination causes the colors to change in orderto complement a particular type of environment.Because all things are harmoniously connected, you might think of this glowing effervescence asa reflection of the light that shines within eachspirit.

The next thing you would notice is the‘ scent ’. The rarefied atmosphere together withthe sweet, flowered perfume of each bloomcreates an angelic aroma ! So often the spiritshave said that they instantly possessed aheightened sensitivity to the exquisitely sweetsmell of their environment. The unyielding scentand beauty of this heavenly expanse is beyond

words to describe ! It is a perfect world filled withrolling emerald meadows and magnificentforests ! These bountiful trees need no pruningor care; there are no falling leaves. Everything isso alive and in harmony with every other part. Thisbit of heaven is a place where nothing is out oforder, where everything is in accord !

Besides the beauty, there exists “ School ofKnowledge ” housed in extraordinary buildingscreated with materials unfamiliar to our minds !In fact, the buildings appear to have a translucent, opalescent quality. Perhaps that is where the term“ Pearly Gates ” derived.

Every type of education and instruction canbe found in these great buildings .. art, music, languages, philosophy, the sciences, or theatricalarts. Each Hall of Learning has its own thoughtatmosphere. This thought ambience is createdfrom the feeling of the people enjoying theirinterests, and the love of the architect who usedhis expertise to design the building. Everyoneshares in the intent of the building and the visionof the one who created it.

Jane Roberts - Seth

Experience is the product of the mind, thespirit, conscious thoughts and feelings, andunconscious thoughts and feelings. Thesetogether form the reality that you know.

You are hardly at the mercy of a reality, thatexists apart from yourself, or is thrust upon you.You are so intimately connected with the physicalevents composing your life experience that oftenyou cannot distinguish between the seeminglymaterial occurrences and the thoughts, expectations and desires that gave them birth.

If there are strongly negative characteristicspresent in your most intimate thoughts, if these

actually form bars between you and a more fulllife, still you often look through the bars, not seeingthem. Until they are recognized, they areimpediments. Even obstacles have a reason forbeing. If they are your own, then it is upto you torecognize them and discover the circumstancesbehind their existence.

Your conscious thoughts can be great cluesin uncovering such obstructions. You are notnearly as familiar with your own thoughts as youmay imagine. They can escape from you likewater through your fingers, carrying with them vitalnutrients that spread across the landscape of

your psyche and all too often carrying sludge andmud that clog up the channels of experience andcreativity.

An examination of your conscious thoughtswill tell you much about the state of your innermind, your intentions and expectations, and willoften lead you to a direct confrontation withchallenges and problems. Your thoughts, studied, will let you see where you are going. They pointclearly to the nature of physical events. Whatexists physically exists first in thought and feeling. There is no other rule.

You have the conscious mind for a goodreason. You are not at the mercy of unconsciousdrives unless you consciously acquiesce to them.Your present feelings and expectations canalways be used to check your progress. If you donot like your experience, then you must changethe nature of your conscious thoughts andexpectations. You must alter the kind ofmessages that you are sending through yourthoughts to your own body, to friends andassociates.

Each thought has a result, in your terms. Thesame kind of thought, habitually repeated, willseem to have a more or less permanent effect. Ifyou like the effect then you seldom examine thethought. If you find yourself assailed by physicaldifficulties, however, you begin to wonder what iswrong.

Sometimes you blame others, your ownbackground, or a previous life .. if you acceptreincarnation. You may hold ‘ God ’ or the devilresponsible, or you may simply say, “ That is life ”,and accept the negative experience as anecessary portion of your lot.

You may finally come to a half-understandingof the nature of reality and wail, “ I believe that I

have caused these ill-effects, but I find myselfunable to reverse them ”.

If this is the case, then, regardless of whatyou have told yourself thus far, you still do notbelieve that you are the creator of your ownexperience. As soon as you recognize this fact, you can begin at once to alter those conditionsthat cause you dismay or dissatisfaction.

No one forces you to think in any particularmanner. In the past, you may have learned toconsider things pessimistically. You may believethat pessimism is more realistic than optimism. You may even suppose, and many do, that sorrowis ennobling, a sign of deep spiritualism, a markof apartness, a necessary mental garb of saintsand poets. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

All consciousness has .. within it .. the deepabiding impetus to use its abilities fully, to expandits capacities, to venture joyfully beyond theseeming barriers of its own experience. The veryconsciousnesses within the smallest moleculescry out against any ideas of limitation. They yearntoward new forms and experiences. Even atomsconstantly seek to join in new organizations ofstructure and meaning. They do thisinstinctively.

Man has been endowed, and has endowedhimself, with a conscious mind to direct the nature, shape and form of his creations. All deepaspirations and unconscious motivations, allunspoken drives, rise up for the approval ordisapproval of the conscious mind, and await itsdirection.

Only when it abdicated its functions does itallow itself to become swayed by negativeexperience. Only when it refuses responsibilitydoes it finally find itself at the seeming mercy ofevents over which it appears to have no control.

Rasha

edit-team

Rasha .. is a healer, channel, and author, who has

served as a conduit of divine guidance since February,1998 Rasha received the teachings from “ Oneness ”. As

the Divine Wisdom of Oneness guided her step-by-step

through the agonies and the exultation of an experientialvoyage to God-realization, Rasha painstakingly

documented the principles that lay the foundation for anew level of understanding of the phenomenon we call “ life ”. A few excerpts

from the book “ The Divine Wisdom of Oneness ”.

The maintenance of physical health undercondition of accelerated vibration requiresadaption and the revision of one’s priorities.

It will no longer be possible to maintainoptimum standards of health with physicalmeans alone. The conditions with which youcontend on a daily basis require that basicpractices, focused on maintaining health, besupplemented with energy practices focused oncleansing the subtle bodies of residual density.Ultimately, the physical form will reflect the sum-total vibration of all aspects of your energy body,as the result of your efforts.

This form you inhabit .. is the vehicle in whichyou will journey to the higher levels of existencethat await you. To create the vibrancy that you

would wish to experience in these times, it isnecessary for you to begin to regard your formas one that transcends physicality.

In fact, the physicality of your form is themanifestation of levels of vibration atcorresponding levels of perception. All of it isenergy. The tangible body is best served byregarding it as the result of your efforts rather thanthe focus of them. For, we are one to focus uponthe limited physical reflection of a totality which isenergy based, the results would be equallylimited, and the hoped for result of vibrant goodhealth would fall far short of what is possible.

You can anticipate the experience of thesymptoms of illness when undergoing an intensive

SPIRITUAL INDIA January - February 200850

program of energetic healing. Do not assume thatthe work is ineffective if your physical conditionworsens directly following embarking upon apurification regimen.

The very symptom that would indicate illnessto those conditioned in physical focus are, in fact,an indication of cleansing, when viewed asenergy. Toxic release is your evidence that purgingis taking place and that your energy field is beingrelieved of a burden that was carried in a particularregion of your cellular structure.

Likewise, when exposed to high levels ofvibration, the toxins harbored in the emotionalbodies of your form are released. This processcan be expected to replicate the experience ofthe repressed emotion, often at profound degreesof intensity.

One might be inclined to conclude that onewere emotionally unbalanced .. based onepisodes of emotional release, which, in alllikelihood, will follow exposure to high levels ofhealing energy. In fact, such an experience wouldindicate that balance was restored and that certainlayers of repressed emotion, which is energeticdensity held at the level of the emotional body, had been released.

As the process intensifies, one approachesthe depths of the karmic burden carriedemotionally, and begins to peel back the layers ofpatterning that have colored one’s experience andone’s responses through life-time after life-time.

As you begin to emerge from this transitionalphase, you will experience a sense of liberationfrom the constraints of emotional stimuli, that thereflex of emotional response has beentranscended and that you are no longer operatingat the mercy of the feelings that once dominatedyour experience.

Letting go of the negatively charged energiessurrounding life issues, when stimulatedenergetically through healing practices, is a wayto maximize the effects of those therapies and tobegin to break the vibrational chain that wouldcontinue to magnetize to you experiences of asimilar vibration. Resist the inclination to hold backduring these episodes of profound emotionalrelease. For the responses that have beentriggered are symptomatic of untold levels ofhistory carried within you.

And .. as each successive level is revealedand released .. you are quite likely to begin toexperience a sense of liberation from life-timesof emotional imprisonment. Standard provocativecues cease to produce the standard emotionalreflex action. And at long last, the chain is brokenthat held you in a spiral of emotional conditioning.

What you can expect to experience is asense of detachment from the emotionsthemselves and from the kinds of circumstancesthat once triggered them. You begin to perceiveyourself as coasting over the surface of scenariosthat once hooked you into endless repeatperformances of agonizing dramas. And a subtlesense of indifference is your cue that the energyhas shifted within you and that you are free tochoreograph the dance of your experience as youchoose to have it be.

It is to be encouraged that you take the timeto delve deeply into the residual emotionalpatterning that is coloring your experience in thistime of transformation and that you engage inactivities designed to stimulate the cellularmemories harbored in your emotional body. For,beneath the illusion of calm in even the mostcontrolled exterior, is a well-layered structure ofdensity that must be released, if you are totranscend the levels of vibration to come.

“ A Master accepts others as they arewithout attempting to change them to be what hewants them to be. ”

“ A Master is a living example of detachedmind . His state of mind fluctuates only frompositive to neutral as outside conditions change. He accepts all the warmth and joy in life, whiledetaching from the negativity by allowing it to flowpast him without affecting him. ”

“ A Master doesn’t complain to others aboutanyone or anything. He accepts ‘ what is ’. Heaccepts unalterable realities as they are .. withoutwasting mental or physical energy attempting tochange what cannot be changed. ”

“ A Master does not judge other humanbeings. He knows that everyone is doing the best

they can, although maybe not the best they knowhow. ”

“ A Master doesn’t blame anyone foranything. Blame is incompatible with theacceptance of karma. You and you alone areresponsible for absolutely everything that hasever happened to you. You set it up to experienceas an opportunity to learn. ”

“ A Master doesn’t take anything personally, for he knows someone else’s reaction to him, good or bad, comes out of their memory banks. It is their ‘ view-point ’ and has nothing to do withhim. The way they relate to him they would relateto anyone who represented to them what herepresents. ”

“ A Master knows that there is nothing toseek and nothing to find. You are alreadyenlightened, and all the words in the world willnot give you what you already have. The wiseseeker, therefore, is concerned with one thing only.. to become aware of what he already is, of theTrue Self within. ”
