Page 9: NADCA’s 26th Annual Meeting & Exposition is the year’s ...NADCA’s 26 th Annual Meeting is provided by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association. The National Air Duct Cleaners

Become NADCA Certified! The National Air Duct Cleaners Association invites you to join over 1,800 technicians who are ASCS’s and CVI’s. Technicians who

successfully complete their respective exams will obtain the prestigious ASCS or CVI credential. The credential assures specialized

knowledge in HVAC systems cleaning, adherence to standards, consumer protections and confers peer and public recognition to

those individuals who prove proficient in their practice.

The Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) is NADCA’s

most popular certification, as it signifies a high level of

professionalism in the HVAC cleaning industry. Through

certification, technicians and contractors demonstrate requisite

knowledge of HVAC\system cleaning, NADCA standards,

industry regulations, an understanding of basic microbiological

contamination, project assessment and more.

The Certified Ventilation Inspector (CVI) certification is sought by

NADCA members and HVAC industry contractors who are interested

in demonstrating a higher level of professionalism and knowledge.

Individuals with a CVI certification have undergone training in

performing inspections, in compliance with NADCA's standards and

guidelines.

To obtain either the ASCS or CVI certification, an individual is required to take and pass a multiple choice exam.

These exams are available through several different outlets, including but not limited to NADCA testing centers,

the NADCA Annual Meeting & Exposition and the NADCA Fall Technical Conference.

NADCA’s “Train the Trainer” Program

As you look through the brochure, you will notice that several presentations are marked “CEC Training.” These

presentations are part of NADCA’s unique CEC Training Program, designed to provide materials you can use to train

your company’s personnel back at the office so they can earn the continuing education credits they need for ASCS

certification renewal. In addition to helping you implement your own good quality training, the CEC Training Program also

allows your personnel to earn CECs toward their ASCS recertification – without ever leaving the office. Upon completion

of the training, each employee must sign an affidavit verifying their participation in the training and pay the renewal fee of

$75. This will qualify them for six (6) CECs for their ASCS Renewal.

Be sure to attend these CEC Training sessions if you want to participate in this program. You must scan your

identification badge (received at the NADCA registration desk) in order to qualify to train your personnel so they can

receive continuing education credits from NADCA. Please note that in order to qualify to train your personnel through the

CEC Training Program you must also hold a current ASCS certification. All registrants in attendance will receive access

to the speaker materials for the CEC Training Sessions. A listing of the CEC Certified Training sessions are noted below.
