And it has the right to do so, because in the last years the villages between Mt. Sella and Fanes – Corvara, Kolfuschg, La Villa, Pedratsches and St.Kassian – have developed into noble ski resorts. Not for nothing the valley was repeatedly decorated concerning ski holidays. Surrounded by the unique landscape of the picturesque Dolomites the skiing area Alta Badia offers many easy slopes for beginners, families and leisurely skiers. Val di Fassa is located in the southwest part of the Dolomites in Trentino and borders South Tyrol. The   Hotel   is   situated   between   the Sassolungo,   Sella   mountains   and   the Marmolada, in the centre of Alba, a small village about 1km from Canazei. We are 500m far from the Ciampac ski­area in Alba, and 500m from the start of the lift which leads to the “Sellaronda”. In Winter in front of our Hotel there is a free Skibus.

Breuil-Cervinia owes its great reputation to its dreamlike location on the southern flank of the Mt. Matterhorn.

In the shade of the almost 4,500 m high mountain the giant ski resort extends over to Zermatt in Switzerland. However, it is not only one of the largest, but also one of the most snow-sure glacier skiing areas in the Alps – to wit not only in winter, but also during the warm season.Mt. Plan Maison (2555 m) is the linchpin of the ski region Breuil-Cervinia-Valtournenche: here most cable cars and slopes start.

The longest ski run of the area starts on Plateau Rosa and is 15-20 km long. You will master a difference in altitude of 2000 m: good endurance is required! Snow parks are open to free-style skiers and snowboarders on the glacier of the Kleinmatterhorn in summer as well as in winter.

Sestriere

On the border between Italy and France there is Sestriere, the hub of the ski area called the "Vialattea". The ski area covers 400 km of slopes, is one of the best in Italy with the resorts of Sauze d' Oulx and Montgenèvre.

Sestriere has a long international history of skiing and tourism. In 1921 the first inn opened here in town, since 1930 the owner of Fiat,

Giovanni Agnelli, built here a modern ski resort. Characteristic of the area and now the symbol of the city, the hotel built on the twin towers, right in the center of the country.

After World Ski Championships in 1997, in 2006 Sestriere hosted the Olympic Winter Games of Turin.

The slopes of Sestriere is divided into three zones. On the one hand, Sises Mount (2600 m) and Monte Motta (2823 m), with some very steep slopes, in front of Mount Fraiteve (2701 m), the gate area of the "Vialattea". in Bormio!

The Shacleton Mountain resort lies at the heart of the ski resort of Sestriere and is a stunning 4* property.

The rooms and the suites, divided into four typologies according to their size, draw inspiration from the constellations of the Milky Way, cause this is the name of the skiing district which Sestriere is the centre of.
